The four-day military confrontation between India and Pakistan in May 2025 still remains a topic of discussion. In this conflict, Operation Sindoor launched by India has caused huge damage to many important military bases of Pakistan. The most discussed among these was Noor Khan Airbase located in Rawalpindi, the special thing is that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar publicly admitted for the first time that Noor Khan Airbase was damaged in Indian drone attacks. After this confession, the question arose in the minds of people that who was Noor Khan, in whose name such an important airbase of Pakistan is built. So let us know who was Noor Khan, in whose name the Pakistani airbase was destroyed by India in Operation Sindoor.

Who was Noor Khan?

Noor Khan was not just an army officer, but he was one of the few. Who have played an important role in the air forces of both India and Pakistan. His life started with the Indian Air Force and has reached the post of Chief of the Pakistan Air Force. Interestingly, in the last years of his life, he openly criticized many military policies of Pakistan. Noor Khan was born in 1923. When India and Pakistan were a single country, he studied at the Royal Indian Military College and was commissioned as a pilot officer in the undivided Indian Air Force (IAF) on 6 January 1941.

At that time, there were very few Indian officers in the Indian Air Force, but Noor Khan was considered a very talented and courageous pilot from the beginning. He took flying training on aircraft such as Westland Wapiti, Hawker Hart and Hawker Audax. During World War II he flew many risky missions on the India-Burma front. His fellow officers say that Noor Khan had a passion for flying and he never shied away from flying the most difficult aircraft.

Selection of Pakistan Air Force after partition

At the time of partition of the country in 1947, Noor Khan had a choice. India or Pakistan, his native region had gone to Pakistan and many of his fellow officers were also going to Pakistan Air Force, so he chose Pakistan Air Force (PAF). His career in Pakistan progressed rapidly and in 1965 he became Air Chief Marshal of Pakistan Air Force. Noor Khan was the chief of Pakistan Air Force during the 1965 war. Later he himself admitted that this war was started by Pakistan and the country was not fully prepared for it. However, he also admitted that in post-war Pakistan, propaganda was promoted instead of truth and an impartial review was never conducted. According to him, if the right lessons had been learned from that war, a major defeat like 1971 could have been avoided.

Noor Khan became a critic of Pakistan’s policies

In the last years of his life, Noor Khan became a major critic of Pakistan’s military thinking. He openly said that the 1965 war was Pakistan’s fault, India had only acted in self-defence. India-Pakistan war was not a war of any religion. He also said that the root of Pakistan’s problems lies in its military thinking and repeatedly adopting the path of war.

Noor Khan Airbase and Operation Vermillion

The airbase named after Noor Khan is a major military base of Pakistan. The Indian Air Force targeted this airbase during Operation Sindoor in May 2025. Now Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has also accepted that this airbase was damaged in Indian drone attacks and the soldiers deployed there were injured. It is, in a way, a paradox of history that decades later, the airbase named after a person who once served the country in the Indian Air Force was targeted by India in a military action.

The situation between India and Pakistan at this time does not seem less than a formal war. Tension on the border is at its peak, and from words to accurate attacks between the two countries, conflict is visible at every level. In such a situation, a shocking video is going viral on social media, which has blown the senses of Pakistan and has run a wave of pride in India’s heart. In this video, it is being claimed that India has launched a missile attack on the famous cricket stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and that too so accurate that along with the stadium, the buildings around it were also hit. Let us also tell you that Pakistan’s Cricket League PSL is also being organized these days and many matches are to be played in this stadium.

India blew up Rawalpindi’s cricket stadium!

A video has been increasingly viral like a fire on social media, which shows the destruction outside a stadium. The smoke seems to be rising, fire brigade vehicles are trying to control the uncontrollable fire and the windows of nearby buildings are broken. It is being claimed that this is the scene of the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan and it has been destroyed by the missiles fired by India. In the video, there are also talks of stampede, chaos and fear in the background. These scenes look like a war zone and everyone on the internet is just saying “This was a trailer, the picture is still left.”

The stadium of Rawalpindi has been broken.

This evening was a PSL match here.

Abe leave cricket, play missile missiles with us. pic.twitter.com/ppzuqstx6L

People were surprised to see the scrapes and panic for force

In the video, blazing fire, running people, fire engines and a hurled Pakistani force are seen. This scene is not a part of a film, but a glimpse of this changing India which no longer warns, directly targets. This operation run by India is being described as ‘Operation Sindoor’ and if this claim is true then it is the chapter of Indian military history which will never be forgotten. This is the same moment when India said, “Now neither will stop, nor will you bend … Now whatever will happen, it will be clear.”

ALSO READ: Suraj came out in Pakistan at 2 pm, and the people have fun on social media, fun getting viral

Users react like this

The video has been shared with an ex -account named @Baliyan_x, which has been seen by millions of people so far, while many people have also liked the video. In such a situation, social media users are seen giving various reactions about videos. One user wrote … will kill more now. Another user wrote … only the army and the general public die in the war. So there is another user wrote… Jung itself is an issue, how can this issue be resolved.

Pahalgam terror attack: Since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, tension between India and Pakistan has been increasing. Five days after the attack, Pakistan is afraid of a big attack. This fear is also visible in his action. Meanwhile, Section 144 has been implemented in Karachi, Pakistan.

According to the report of ARY News, on the orders of Karachi Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi, Section 144 has been implemented for two months in SITE area and Kari district. Its purpose is to maintain law and order and traffic in the area. This rule will remain in force till June 24.

You may have to face legal action

Karachi Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi has implemented Section 144 in the city to control heavy traffic. Under this, from 6 am to 10 pm, heavy vehicles and goods carrying trucks have been banned from coming to the city.

This step has been taken to prevent road accidents and reduce traffic jams. This rule will be applicable from 17 April to 16 June 2025. The administration has ordered police and law enforcement agencies that strict action should be taken against those who violate these rules. A case can also be registered against those who break the rules under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Karachi is called the financial capital of Pakistan. From here, the entire country’s business and market is handled.

Constant meetings are going on in Pakistan

Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is holding 2-3 meetings every day. He has also canceled his Bangladesh Yatra to hold meetings. On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Aseem Munir are also busy in separate meetings.

Pakistan is trying to get the support of Muslim countries. In this connection, External Affairs Minister Ishaq Dar has spoken to the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran and Türkiye. Pakistan has asked these countries to make the situation normal by interacting with India.

Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said that India is not responding to our words. We are sending messages, but no answer is coming. Pakistan has also demanded direct intervention from countries like America and Iran. Pakistan says that if India does not agree then the situation can worsen.
