Pakistan said that this step reminds it of the events of 1992 and creates an environment of danger for religious minorities in India. India reacted sharply to this statement and said that Pakistan should pay attention to the deteriorating situation in its country before interfering in religious events in India. MEA said, incidents like pressure on religious minorities, forced conversions, attacks on temples and churches and human rights violations have been happening continuously in Pakistan. In such a situation, preaching about Pakistan is nothing more than hypocrisy.
