Indian Air Force Chief Greece Visit: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Cyprus, Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh is on a visit to Greece. The special thing is that both Greece and Cyprus are countries in the Mediterranean Sea region. Both of them have old feud with Turki. The Turkias helped Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.

For the last few years, India’s defense partnership from Alexander’s country Greece has been increasing. In the year 2024, the Greece Air Force reached India, so now Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh is in Greece on an official visit to strengthen the relationship.

Greece Air Force gave a grand reception
The Indian Air Force was given a grand welcome by the Greece Air Force and was given the Guard of Honor. Giving information on the social media platform ‘X’, the Indian Air Force said that the main objective of this visit is to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of operation and training. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh visited Greece’s fighter unit and participated in the staff tox. Air forces of both countries have already participated in joint military exercises such as ‘Inios-23’, ‘Inios-25’ and ‘Tarang Shakti-24’.

Why Air Chief Marshal Singh’s visit to Greece is necessary
Air Chief Marshal Singh, besides Greece’s fighter unit, also visited the Halenic Air Force Academy at Decliane Airbase. During this time, mutual training, technical cooperation and joint military schemes were discussed in detail between the military officials of the two countries. The visit of Air Chief Marshal AP Singh will also empower defense partnership and India’s global military diplomacy. Earlier, Greece’s Air Force Chief Lieutenant General Demosthenis Gregoridis, at the Halenic Air Force General Staff located at Greece’s Papagu Military Base, was formalized by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh. This tour is expected to give a new direction to the ongoing military cooperation between the two countries.

How is Greece’s relationship with Turki?
Greece has a figure of thirty -six with Turkas. The two countries have been in dispute in the Mediterranean Sagar and Azian C for the last several decades. There has been a long tension in both countries regarding Cyprus. Greece needs global support against Turki. In such a situation, ‘World-Leader’ i.e. Vishwaguru India cannot be an important country. It is believed that the Air Force chief also discussed Operation Sindoor in talks with his Greek counterpart and explained how the Indian Air Force destroyed the airbase of Pakistan.

Greece Prime Minister Kiriyakos Mitsotakis visits India
Security challenges are increasing in the Mediterranean Sea and Indo-Pacific sector, at such a time India and Greece military cooperation will strengthen the strategic preparations of the two countries. In the last few years, India and Greece have come together to deal with this strategic challenges. Last year, Greece Prime Minister Kiriyakos Mitsotakis also visited India (20-24 February 2024). His visit was not limited to alive the relations between ancient India and Greece (modern Greece) once again, but it had many strategic matters.

During Operation Sindoor, the Turki not only openly made statements in support of Pakistan, but also supplied drones and missiles to fight against India. After this beach, India has prepared to surround the Turks from all sides. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to travel to his biggest staunch enemy Cyprus.

Prime Minister Modi will attend the G-7 conference to be held in Canada from 15 to 17 June, but before Canada he will go to Cyprus and return to India via Croatia. The hostility of Turki with Cyprus has been going on since 1974. In such a situation, when PM Modi will be in Cyprus, then the tension of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is bound to increase. However, no information has been revealed about PM Modi’s Cyprus tour as to why he is going there before Canada.

Turkias supported Pakistan against India
After the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, the tension between India and Pakistan had increased a lot. India launched Operation Sindoor to avenge the attack and destroyed nine bases of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist organizations in Pakistan. However, India took this action on the intervening night of May 6-7, but before that the Turkas started sending weapons to Pakistan.

On May 5, TCG Buyukada was seen at TCG Buyukada at Karachi Port in Pakistan, while the Turki Air Force had landed the C-130 aircraft in Karachi a day before that.

Cyprus is going to be chaired by EU?
Cyprus and Croatia are members of the European Union and Cyprus may receive the EU for six months next year. Last month, PM Modi was about to visit Croatia, Netherlands and Norway, but due to tension with Pakistan, the tour was posted. This year the Canada is hosting the G-7 summit and the conference is being organized from 15 to 17 June in Kananskis in Albert city, in which PM Modi will also reach.

What is a fight between Turkas and Cyprus?
The controversy between Turki and Cyprus is decades old. Cyprus is a Mediterranean island, south of Turkas, west of Syria and northwest of Israel. Cyprus lives in Turki and Greek community, which has a racial dispute. The dispute between the Turki and Cyprus began when the Turki attacked the northern part of Cyprus after the Greek fighters coup in 1974.

After this incident, Cyprus was divided into two parts, one of which has a Greek Cyprus government and the other has control of Turk Cyprus residents. However, the Cyprus Republic of Greek Cyprus is recognized internationally. At the same time, the Turk Cyprus residents have given their area the status of a self -destructive nation, which only accepts the Turkas. The Turki had also captured Varosha, the famous city of Cyprus in encroachment, where 35 thousand soldiers are deployed and now the city is lodged, whereas earlier there was a crowd of tourists.

Pakistan-Turkey Relations: Even though the Turki drones have failed in the attack against India, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and ‘Field) Marshars Munir have reached Istanbul to express gratitude to their supreme friends. In Istanbul, Shahbaz and Munir have met Turk’s President Erdogan.

After meeting Erdogan, Shahbaz thanked India for the help of the Turki during the recent military conflict (6–10 May). In fact, in response to India’s Operation Sindoor, Pakistan used Yiva drone in the attack for the attack. That is another thing that all these drones of Turki had failed and India had killed.

Pakistan gets Turki’s support
Immediately after the Pahalgam massacre, Pakistan filled a cargo ship and ordered a large consignment of drone from Turki.
