BCCI has announced Team India for the five -match Test series against England. Young batsman Shubman Gill has got the captaincy. England tour is no less than a fire test for coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill. After the retirement of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Team India will play Test matches for the first time.

The first Test match between India and England will be played between 20 and 24 June in Headingley, the second Test match between July 2 and July 6 in Birmingham, the third Test match will be played in Lord’s between July 10 and July 14, the fourth Test match will be played in Manchester between July 23 to July 27 and the fifth and final Test match between 31 July to 4 August will be played in Kennington Oval.

The BCCI has announced an 18 -member team for the tour of England. 6 bowlers have been selected as Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, famous Krishna, Akashdeep, Arshdeep Singh and Shardul Thakur. Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav have three spinners. Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurael are two wicketkeepers. A total of 7 batsmen have been elected at the same time.
