Ind vs eng 4th test: The fourth Test played between India and England in Manchester ended on a draw, but a lot of drama was seen on the field on its last day. When English captain Ben Stokes could not dismiss Indian batsmen Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, they offered both batsmen to draw a match. However, both Indian batsmen were close to their century and they turned down the offer. After this, Ben Stokes also had a dispute over joining hands with both batsmen, which went viral on social media. Now coach Gautam Gambhir has also broken his silence on this entire controversy.

Gambhir’s anger erupted in press conference

After the match, when the Indian coach Gautam Gambhir was asked a question on the issue, he presented his side in a manner. He clearly said that if this situation had been with the players of England, would he leave the field? Gambhir said, “If a player is batting at 90 and the second player is also at 85, is he not entitled to complete his century? Is England come to his players so close to the century and ask to leave the field? There is no answer.

Jadeja-Sunder’s century, Gill’s support

For India, Ravindra Jadeja (107 not out) and Washington Sundar (101 not out) drawn the match by making a strong 203 -run partnership on the last day. When both batsmen reached close to their century, English captain Stokes proposed to end the game.

Indian captain Shubman Gill also supported Gambhir in his statement after the match and said, “When a batsman is so close to his century, he is entitled to achieve it. Whatever the result of the match is, we want to give our players the place he deserves.”
