By the end of the second day in the Oval Test, the Indian team has scored 75 runs at the loss of 2 wickets. England took a 23 -run lead in the first innings, so India is ahead by 52 runs till the stumps on the second day. KL Rahul also flopped in the second innings, as only 7 runs came out of his bat. On the second day, Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored 51 runs till the stumps and Akashdeep is playing with him for 4 runs.

On the second day, India carried out its innings with a score of 204/6. Karun Nair had completed his fifty on the very first day. Well on the second day, the Indian team could play only 34 balls, in which they lost the rest of their four wickets. In these 34 balls, Team India was able to add only 20 runs in their innings. In this way India’s first innings ended for 224 runs. Karun Nair scored 57 runs.

England stumbled after a stormy start

Ben Docket and Jack Crolye made England a stormy start. Together, both of them carried on England’s innings with more than 6 run-rates and both took the team’s score beyond 90 in the 13th over. Docket and Crolye did an opening partnership of 92 runs, but Docket was dismissed for 43 runs. Crowley scored 64 runs, but after he was dismissed, the process of falling wickets started.

Joe Root scored 29 runs, while Harry Brook stayed at the crease till the end and was dismissed for 53 runs. England had not lost a single wicket for 92 runs, but he lost all his 10 wickets within the next 155 runs. Actually England’s 9 wickets fell, yet he was declared an allout. This happened because Chris Woakes is out of the fifth Test due to injury.

India leads 52 runs

For India, Yashasvi Jaiswal started the innings in a fiery style. Jaiswal completed his half -century in 44 balls. The interesting thing is that Jaiswal completed his fifty with tremendous six. KL Rahul was dismissed by just 7 runs, while Sai Sudarshan became a victim of unusual bounce in the pitch, who was out after scoring 11 runs.

The Indian team carried forward their score from 204/6, on the second day Team India was able to play only 34 balls, in which they were able to score just 20 runs and lost the remaining four wickets. In response, England got Ben Docket and Jack Croli to give England a start. Both of them scored 92 runs in 12.5 overs, but only then Duckets were dismissed on a score of 43. The process of falling wickets started from here, while after some time, Jack Crolye completed the fifty, whose innings ended for 64 runs.

Captained Oli Pope scored 22 runs, while Joe Root could not convert a good start into a big innings. Root was dismissed by Mohammad Siraj on a score of 29.
