South Africa cricket team has come to India to play two-match Test, three-match ODI and five-match T20 series. The visiting team started the India tour with a win in Kolkata. Now the second test match is being played between the two teams. After this, a three-match ODI series will be played between India and South Africa from 30th November.

Indian Cricket Board and South African Cricket Board have announced their respective teams for this series. Wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul will be the captain of India in the three-match ODI series. Whereas Temba Bavuma will lead the South African team. Star players like Shubman Gill (injured), Shreyas Iyer (injured), Jasprit Bumrah (rest), Mohammed Siraj (rest) and Axar Patel (rest) have not been selected in Team India. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja have returned to the team.

Like the Test series, you will be able to watch all the matches of the ODI series live on TV on the channels of Star Sports Network. Whereas viewers watching the match on mobile will be able to stream all the matches on JioHotstar. All three matches of the ODI series will start at 1:30 pm. The first match will be played in Ranchi, the second match in Raipur and the third match in Visakhapatnam.

15-member Team India for ODI series against South Africa- Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Harshit Rana, Dhruv Jurel, Prasidh Krishna and Arshdeep Singh.

A three-match ODI series is to be played between India and South Africa from 30 November. The performance of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is difficult in this series. In fact, in view of next year’s T20 World Cup, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is recovering from a thigh injury, may remain out of the ODI series. News agency PTI has written in its report quoting a BCCI source, Hardik is currently recovering from his thigh injury. He is doing his RTP (return to play) training at the Center of Excellence. Till T20 World Cup, Hardik will focus on T20 International matches.

It is believed that Hardik will first prove his match fitness for Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and after that the Mumbai Indians captain will play the T20 International series against South Africa and New Zealand. There are also three ODI matches to be held against New Zealand, but the importance of 50 over cricket is limited till the T20 World Cup. After the next IPL, the focus of senior players will be on the 2027 ODI World Cup cycle.
