An Indian Air Force training aircraft crashed near Tambaram, Chennai. Air Force’s PC-7 MK II (Pilatus PC-7) has become the victim of an accident. The incident occurred during a routine training mission. The pilot’s life has been saved in this accident. There has been no loss of any kind to life or property.

News agency PTI has released the video of the accident site. In this, the debris of the crashed plane is seen scattered on the ground. After the incident, local people gathered at the spot. Indian Air Force has also issued a statement confirming the incident. The Indian Air Force said in a statement, ‘An investigation into the accident has been ordered and there is no report of any loss of life or property.’

Sharing on Twitter, IAF wrote, ‘A PC-7 Mk II training aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed during a routine training mission. Crashed near Tambaram, Chennai at around 1425 hours today. The pilot ejected safely. No damage to civilian property has been reported. A court of inquiry has been constituted to find out the causes of the accident.

Village people saved

The local people of the place where the plane crashed ran to save the pilot. According to the information, after the plane fell, the people of the area were the first to reach the spot. After this, the pilot was given water, lifted up with support and helped. The pilot was very nervous. He has not suffered any kind of injury. After about half an hour, the Air Force helicopter rescued the pilot from the spot and immediately took him to the airbase.

Two pilots died in July

The Indian Air Force’s plan had crashed in July this year. The incident happened in the afternoon. The plane was turned into debris in this accident. This accident happened in the fields. Both pilots died in the accident.

India has taken another special step to strengthen the Air Force. Israel will support him in this. Indian Air Force is soon going to get 6 new mid-air refueling aircraft. For this, talks are going on for a deal worth Rs 8 thousand crore with Israel, which is in the final stage. Israeli government owned company ,Israeli Aircraft Industries,is working on this.

According to the report of ‘ANI’, Israel Aircraft Industries is working on the project of refueling aircraft. She is modifying second hand Boeing 767 commercial planes. It is being prepared for mid-air refueling through necessary changes. Some companies from Russia and Europe were also involved in the race for this deal, but they could not fulfill the Make in India and technical conditions. The Israeli company has agreed to use 30 percent Make in India goods.

Air Force will remove old aircraft

The Indian government was trying to buy tanker planes for the last 15 years, but somewhere the matter was getting stuck. However, now positive results have been seen in this regard. The Indian Air Force is gradually retiring its old aircraft and in their place new fighter aircraft will be able to cover long distances with the help of mid-air refueling.

What is mid-air refueling aircraft?

Mid-air refueling aircraft is capable of refueling any aircraft in mid-air. It delivers fuel to other aircraft in case of emergency. It will be used most in war situations. If a fighter jet is low on fuel during combat, mid-air refueling will immediately reach and refill it. With this, fighter jets will be able to cover greater distances.

The headache of China and Pakistan will increase

India has worked rapidly to strengthen the army after Operation Sindoor. Under this, talks are going on on arms deals for the Air Force as well as the Navy and Army. Now Pakistan will face problems because of mid-air refueling aircraft.

Indian Air Force I-Star: India has taken another major decision after Operation Sindoor. The Ministry of Defense is preparing to buy 3 high-tech spies for the Indian Air Force at a cost of Rs 10 crore. He is going to bring a proposal for this. The Air Force will be able to detect the exact position of the enemy through this. I-star (intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconcilitation) project will make the army easier.

The I-star gives the army air-to-ground surveillance. This will give accurate information of the enemy during the attack and it will be able to play an important role during any operation. The Indian Air Force will be able to get a clear picture on the ground to the ground and can easily attack the enemy’s ground locations (such as radar station, air defense units).

Project can be approved in the last week of June

This army project can be approved in the fourth week of June. Defense officials told ANI that the Rs 10,000 crore project for intelligence, surveillance, target attainment and reconnaissance (I-star) is expected to be kept for approval in the high level meeting of the Ministry of Defense, although no official statements have been made from the army so far.

What is special in i-star aircraft

India will join a special list after getting the I-Star spy aircraft. This aircraft is with very few countries, including the US, Britain and Israel. I-star gives time-sensitive taregging capacity and it increases the level of safety. It has a potential of multi-spectral surveillance.
