The application process for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Common Entrance Exam (CEE) 2026 is going to close tomorrow, 10th April. The youth who have not yet filled the form now have very little time left. If you delay, the opportunity may be lost.

Earlier the last date of application was April 1, but considering the demand of the youth, the date was extended. Now the extended deadline is also going to end. Interested candidates can apply by visiting Join Indian Army website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

This recruitment is for unmarried male candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications. Recruitment will be done in different categories. Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (SKT), Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass) and Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass). Apart from this, applications will also be taken for posts like Soldier Technical, Soldier Pharma and Religious Teacher, for which different qualifications are required.

Who can apply?

• For Agniveer General Duty, it is necessary to have 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate.
• For Agniveer Technical, it is necessary to have Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th.
• For Agniveer Clerk/SKT, one must have passed 12th in any subject with 60% marks.
• For Agniveer Tradesman, it is necessary to have 8th or 10th pass as per the post.

The age of the candidate should be between 17.5 years to 21 years as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation will also be given as per government rules.

Application fee and required documents

A fee of Rs 250 will have to be paid while applying. This payment can be made through net banking, UPI, debit card or credit card. Scanned copy of photograph, signature and identity card will have to be uploaded along with the application.

Candidates have been advised to fill the form themselves and not to fall prey to any middleman. Before submitting the form, check it carefully and keep its print with you.

What will the selection process be like?

The recruitment process will be completed in several stages:

• Online Written Test (Computer Based Test)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Trade or typing test (where required)

How many seats are there and what will be the salary?

More than 25,000 posts will be recruited under Agniveer Recruitment 2026. Selected candidates will get a starting salary of Rs 30,000 per month. Along with this, other facilities will also be provided.
