Now the Indian Army gave a return gift to this child named Shawan Singh. The Indian Army said on Sunday that it will bear the expenses of ten -year -old Shawan Singh’s studies. He had provided food items to the soldiers at the time of firing in a village in Punjab during Operation Sindoor.

Shawan Singh used to work for soldiers posted in Tara Wali village. When the firing started, Shavan took water, snow, tea, milk and lassi for the soldiers. Seeing the courage and enthusiasm of the boy, the Golden Arrow Division of the Indian Army has promised to bear the entire expenses of his education.

Army honored Shawan

During a ceremony at Ferozepur Cantonment on Saturday, Western Command General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar also honored the child. The army said that Shawan’s story reminds of those ‘heroes’ across the country who deserve respect and support.

Shawan wants to grow up and join the Indian Army

Shawan, who lives in Mamdot area of Ferozepur district, had earlier said that he too wants to grow up and join the army. The boy said, “I want to grow up and become a military. I want to serve the country. “The boy’s father then said,” We are proud of him. Soldiers also love him. ”
