As a captain, he will be getting more conflict than most of the players of the ODI team. Such Test captains come in grade A, so they must be earning more than players with B and C grade.

Players get match fees separately

Indian cricketers get different match fees in Test, ODI and T20 matches. All other players, including the captain, get a match fee of Rs 15 lakh to play a Test match, Rs 6 lakh to play ODI and a match fee of Rs 3 lakh to play a T20 match.
