Hidden treasure in fort: Rajasthan, which is recognized for its magnificent forts and palaces, is also home to many historical stories. Among all these stories, the story of the treasure hidden in Jaigarh Fort is the most special and different. This story connects this fort to Emperor Akbar’s famous commander Raja Mansingh. Today we will know what is the special thing about this fort and about a special story related to it.

What is the history of this fort

In the court of Emperor Akbar, commander Raja Mansingh was a skilled strategist as well as very rich rule. He handled many campaigns and also collected full money. A record of history, which also includes the Arabic Granth Tilismat-e-Ambari, I have written that King Mansingh brought gold, silver and precious gems in large quantities. To protect this treasure, he had made an intelligence place inside Amer and Jaigad forts.

Jayagadh Fort hidden treasure

People say that the treasure of commander Raja Mansingh is hidden in this place on the top of the Aravalli hills. It is said that seven major underground tanks were built to keep the treasure. People also have to say that a secret tunnel connecting Amer and Jaigarh was also built, the treasury could be taken secretly.

Indira Gandhi had ordered investigations

In 1976, when the talk of the treasury of this fort reached the government, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi ordered to investigate inside the fort. The Army, Income Tax Department and the rest of the agency investigated inside this fort for several days. The fort was completely sealed. However, after some time, an official announcement said that no treasure was found.

A secret that still maintains

Regarding the treasure, people believe that he is hidden somewhere in the underground rooms. The story of the hidden treasure of King Mansingh connects Jaigarh Fort with a mystery. Historians say that whether it is a treasure or not, this story is one of the most attractive stories of the royal past of India.

Jaigarh Fort is not only because of its story but also for its vast walls and mysterious rooms as well as its brilliant architecture. If you ever visit Rajasthan, you will definitely go to see it once. This fort is reminiscent of the fact that there are some secrets hidden in history which do not appear at first sight.
