The most impact of this pressure is going to be in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, Maharashtra and Northeast states. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in these states in the next few days. Whereas, in the coastal areas of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, strong winds and heavy rain have been warned at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour.</p>

IMD has warned of heavy rains in 19 districts for Telangana. IMD has issued an orange alert for Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamaredy. At the same time, Yellow alert has been issued for 14 districts including Hyderabad and Adilabad. The department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in all these areas in the next 24 hours.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Western India:</strong> Heavy rainfall for 7 consecutive days in Konkan, Goa, Ghat area, Gujarat.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Northeast India:</strong> Very heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura till 2–5 July.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Imd isesed red alert for Heavy Rainfall: </strong>The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert from Delhi-NCR from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra to Kerala. The Meteorological Department has predicted a strong storm and heavy rains for the next few hours. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Delhi at a speed of 60 to 100 kilometers per hour, roaring, hailstorm.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">At the same time, heavy rains and strong winds were damaged in Kerala on Saturday (May 24, 2025), due to heavy rains and strong winds, electricity supply was disrupted and waterlogged on the roads. Electricity supply was disrupted in many areas due to damage to homes and vehicles due to uprooted trees and broken branches in various parts of the state.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Roads in many rural and urban areas were submerged due to continuing heavy rains throughout the day in the state. Revenue Minister K.K. Rajan said, &#8220;In some places there may be heavy rains in a short time without any warning, which can cause sudden floods and landslides.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Premature monsoon came in Kerala after 16 years</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced to arrive in the state ahead of monsoon time. The department said that the arrival of the monsoon in the state after a gap of 16 years has come ahead of time. According to the IMD, the monsoon came eight days before normal and the last time it happened on May 23, 2009. Earlier, on May 19, 1990 after 1975, the early arrival of monsoon was observed.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Meteorological Department released alert regarding monsoon</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">IMD said, &#8220;Heavy rains are expected to continue throughout Kerala with the arrival of monsoon and red and orange alerts have been issued in many districts of the state for the next few days. Also issued red alerts in Kannur and Kasargod districts and Orange Alerts in the remaining 12 districts of the state in Kannur and Kasargod districts.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">At the same time, red alert was issued in five districts for Sunday (May 25, 2025) and an orange alert in 9 districts. For Monday (May 26), red alert was issued in 11 districts of Kerala and Orange Alert in the remaining three.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains and thunderstorms in many states. On behalf of the department, people have been appealed to take precautions while leaving the house. It has also been advised to avoid non -essential travel. This alert has been issued regarding East Rajasthan, Western and East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar and West Bengal by posing on X by the Meteorological Department. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It has been said by the Meteorological Department that there is a possibility of strong storm in these states. It has also been told that incidents like lightning may also occur in some areas. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert stating that there is a possibility of strong wind in Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, southern Karnataka and Uttarakhand at a speed of 50-60 kmph and there is a possibility of storm in these states.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Rain in Delhi broke many years record</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Some areas of Himachal Pradesh are likely to blow strong winds at different places in West Bengal and Sikkim at a speed of 40-50 kmph. A warning of hailstorm has been issued in different areas of Odisha and southern Karnataka.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It has been told by Nagpur Meteorological Department that there is a possibility of strong storms in Gondia, Bhandra, Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Yavatmal and many other cities of Vidarbha. There is a possibility of wind in these places at a speed of 30-40 km per hour and light rain may also occur. Meanwhile, the capital Delhi recorded 78 mm of rain till 8:30 am on Friday. Since 1901, so much rain has made a new record in just 24 hours in May.</p>
