Abdul Fatah Mehdi, brother of the deceased Talal, sent a formal letter to the Attorney General of Yemen, Abdul Salam Al-Huti on Sunday (August 3, 2025), in which he appealed to immediately keep a new date to hang the accused. However, the court of Yemen initially fixed the date of July 16 to punish Nimisha Priya, accused of murder, but was later postponed.

The family of the deceased refused to forgive the accused

In a formal letter sent to the Attorney General of Yemen, the family of the deceased said that he would not forgive the accused Nimisha Priya for the murder and he is not ready for any reconciliation. He said, “We do not want any reconciliation in this case. More than half a month has passed since the execution of the hanging, but still a new date has not been announced. We demand to fulfill our rights to punish the accused.”

Abdul had sent a letter earlier to demand a new hanging date

At the same time, foreign nationals need a local partner to start a business under Yemen’s law, for this 37 -year -old Nimisha partnered with a Yemeni man Talal Abdo Mehdi, but the person was constantly harassing Nimisha.

Nimisha gave injection to make Mehdi unconscious, died

Mehdi had also seized Nimisha Priya’s passport and after that Nimisha also gave her an injection of a drug with the intention of making Mehdi unconscious, so that she faints for some time and she could withdraw her passport. However, Mehdi died of Nimisha’s injection and the Yemeni police arrested Nimisha, trying to leave the country.

We took many months to reach this agreement and we have to save the life of Nimisha Priya and we have a mixture of Nimisha Priyas. The family of the Yemeni person has not given any kind of reply to this agreement so far, if his family says yes and if he is ready to forgive Nimisha, we will immediately collect money and hand them over the money. “
