Indigo airlines direct flights: India’s airline company IndiGo has announced its next major steps for the financial year 2026. IndiGo is now moving towards becoming a global airline with domestic and international expansion, new aircraft, better customer experience and strong participation.

Regarding this, Indigo’s CEO Peter Alber said, “India is the fastest growing airline in the world and IndiGo is playing an important role in this development.” Peter said, “This year we have taken many important initiatives which are taking us to create a global airline.”

Direct flight service will start on 10 international and 4 domestic routes

According to the information, IndiGo FY26 is going to add 10 new international and 4 new domestic destinations. International expansion includes major cities Amsterdam, Manchester, London, Copenhagen, Athens, Tashkent, Almaty, Tabilisi, Siem Rip (Cambodia) and the cities of Vietnam.

At the same time, Adampur (Jalandhar), Hindon (Ghaziabad), Navi Mumbai International Airport, and Noida International Airport (Jewar) will be added to the domestic network, which will make the total domestic destination 95.

The company set a target of 600 aircraft by 2030

In addition, IndiGo will include a new aircraft every week and by 2030 600 aircraft have been targeted. With this, the airline has signed a damp lease agreement of six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from Norse Atlantic Airways. The entry of A321xLR aircraft will also expand long distance flights.

There has been a major agreement between IndiGo and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIL), under which a state-off-the-art MRO (maintenance repair overhaall) will be built. This center will oversee both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.

IndiGo said, “He will further strengthen his international access through Kodeshare agreements. The agreement with Japan Airlines is in the process of making bilateral, which will give better connectivity to India-Japan travelers.

The company will apply Indigo stretch on international routes

At the same time, IndiGo started a business class like Indigo Stretch in November 2024. Now it will also be implemented on international routes in Bangkok, Dubai, Phuket, Singapore. In addition, IndiGo will provide free Indian food and beverages to passengers on its long-hall routes (Amsterdam and Manchester) for the first time.
