2. January 2026
DCGA imposed a record fine of Rs 22.20 crore on IndiGo for cancellation and delay of thousands of flights in December 2025. DCGA also asked for a bank guarantee of Rs 50 crore from the airline so that such a situation does not happen again in future.

3. October 2025
DCGA had imposed a fine of Rs 20 lakh on IndiGo for lack of compliance with the rules related to pilot training and Category C airport operation. The airline later said it would challenge this order.

4. December 2025
During the flight cancellation crisis, DCGA issued show-cause notices to senior officials including the CEO of IndiGo.
