Indore Municipal Corporation of Madhya Pradesh has removed the new name signboards of roads in Muslim -dominated areas. It is alleged that these signboards are disputed as these routes have been nominated illegally. Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son and BJP leader Akash Vijayvargiya had objected to this and said that the names of the roads are related to ‘special religion’.

In fact, Akash Vijayvargiya wrote a letter to Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, through which it was claimed that some roads of Chandan Nagar are signed by ‘special religion’. This illegal changed signboard has been installed without administration knowledge.

Mayor talks about action against ward councilor
BJP leader Akash Vijayvargiya also warned the Municipal Corporation Commissioner that if these signboards are not removed immediately, there will be a fierce movement. When the matter caught fire, Mayor of Indore Pushyamitra Bhargava said on Thursday (August 21) that legal action will be taken against the ward councilor.

Councilor rejected all allegations
At the same time, councilor’s husband Rafiq Khan says that all these allegations are wrong. His wife has not allowed a new name of roads in Muslim -dominated areas. He claimed that two years ago, the Municipal Corporation was requested to install signboards with the names of roads as it is difficult for people to find the address. After this, taking action, the Municipal Corporation itself set up new signboards on the basis of the names that have been going on for forty years.

What was written on sign board
Among the boards that the Municipal Corporation has removed from Chandan Nagar, there were two names of the same road. Along with ‘Sakina Manzil Road’, ‘Chandan Nagar Sector-B ward number two’ was also written on a board. Similarly, ‘Loha Gate Road’ was written with ‘Raza Gate’. Locals say that these boards are installed to help the common people. These paths are known by both names. If a name is removed, then people will have difficulty in reaching the right place.
