India has strongly criticized the statements made by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Kashmir and Indus Water Treaty at the United Nations General Assembly. On Friday (26 September), India accused Pakistan of promoting terrorism.

India’s representative Petal Gehlot said in his reply, “His Majesty President, the dramatics showed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan in this meeting this morning, re -reveals the importance of terrorism in his foreign policy, but the truth cannot be hidden from any drama or lie.”

Gehlot also reminded that Pakistan had defended a ‘Pakistani sponsored terrorist organization’ in terms of massacre at the tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir earlier this year. He said, ‘This is Pakistan who saved this terrorist organization in the Security Council on 25 April 2025 from its actions.’

What else did India’s representative say?

The representative of India also cited the record of giving protection to the extremists of Pakistan. He said, ‘A country that has been sponsoring and exporting terrorism for a long time, now does not hesitate to make the most ridiculous statements. He hid Osama bin Laden for a decade, while showing a partnership in the fight against terrorism. Its ministers have recently admitted that they have been running a terrorist camp for decades. It is no wonder that this double game is now going on to the Prime Minister level.

Sharif again raises the issue of Kashmir

Like Pakistan, Sharif raised the Kashmir issue in his address. He said, ‘I want to assure the Kashmiris that I am standing with them, Pakistan stands with them, and one day India’s atrocities will end in Kashmir.’ He said that Pakistan is in favor of the ‘Fundamental Rights of Self-Nillion’ of Kashmiris and this process should be done through a fair referendum in the control of the United Nations.

Sharif also claimed that Pakistan condemns ‘all types and forms’ of terrorism and accused the foreign-backed groups of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Balochistan Liberation Army of targeting against their country. He said, ‘There should be no place for hatred, discrimination or violence against any person or religion.’ India rejected these statements as an attempt to hide Pakistan’s role in promoting the cross -border terrorism.

Pakistan’s allegations on Indus Water Treaty

Sharif accused India of violating the Indus Water Treaty after the Pahalgam terror attack in April. He said, ‘Any violation of this treaty for us is like war.’

India suspended its participation in this World Bank-Treaty signed in 1960, when 26 civilians were killed in the Pahalgam attack. New Delhi, linking this step to Pakistan’s pro -terrorism attitude, has said that the treaty will be restored only when Pakistan takes concrete and verification steps to end the cross -border violence.

SCO Summit 2025: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday raised the issue of Indus Water Agreement (IWT) at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China and emphasized the need for structural dialogue on all pending disputes. He said that all SCO member countries should respect international and bilateral treaties.

Shahbaz Sharif arrived in China on Saturday, where the SCO’s Heads of State (CHS) meeting was held from 31 August to 1 September. Apart from Pakistan, this organization includes China, India, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus. Apart from this, 16 other countries are connected as supervisors or dialogues partners.

Indirect tanj and IWT dispute over India

At the SCO Summit, Shahbaz Sharif gave an indirect reference to India’s move to temporarily stop the Indus Water Agreement in April, saying that all countries should follow the same principles. He emphasized that continuous access to water resources will strengthen cooperation among all member countries and will help in achieving the goals of SCO. India temporarily stopped IWT after the attack (in which 26 people were killed) in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22. Pakistan called it a war action.

This is said on terrorism

Shahbaz Sharif also insisted on the issue of terrorism and said that the Jaffer Express train abducted in March and other attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is unfnertion of the role of some foreign hands. He said that those who use terrorism for political gains will no longer get the acceptance of the world. He said that Pakistan lost more than 90,000 lives under its resolve against terrorism, separatism and extremism and suffered an economic loss of $ 152 billion.

Emphasis on Afghanistan and regional contact

The Prime Minister emphasized the need to maintain a “peaceful and stable” atmosphere in Afghanistan. He said that Pakistan is engaged in forming an economic partnership with Afghan leadership and a good neighbor. Shahbaz introduced the expansion of CPEC in the structure of the SCO as an example of regional contact and economic consolidation. He emphasized the requirement of reliable supply chains through land, air and rail transport routes.

Flood and global help in Pakistan appreciated

Shahbaz Sharif in his address also mentioned the recent floods and rain situation in Pakistan. He highlighted the devastation, loss of life, loss of livestock and heavy losses to agriculture and infrastructure. Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the support and cooperation of the international community, especially China,. Apart from collective meetings, Shahbaz Sharif also held bilateral meetings with SCO leaders. Iranian President Masood Pejeskian expressed condolences to the flood situation in Pakistan and committed to cooperation. The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed concern over the struggle of Israel and Iran and described the violence in Gaza as a heart -wrenching. He emphasized the need for the establishment of an independent state in Palestine, supporting the two-state solution.

Pakistan is constantly furious after India temporarily suspended the 1960 Indus Water Agreement. From the military officer of Pakistan to the leaders, leaders have been making statements. After Bilawal Bhutto’s recent Indus Water Treaty statement, now Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also poisoned against India. He has said jackal, saying that Pakistan will not allow even a drop of water of its rights from India. Recently, PAK Army Chief General Asim Munir had also said that if India creates a dam, Pakistan will drop it with missiles. He threatened the nuclear attack and said, if we are drowning, half the world will be drowned. Apart from this, former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has also made rhetoric on the matter related to the Indus Water Agreement.

Meanwhile, India has started the tender process for the National Hydro Electric Power Project on Chenab River near Indus village in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan is afraid that India may stop water from this project and will have a serious impact on agriculture, irrigation and power generation. Although India’s attitude is clear, this project comes under international standards and India’s jurisdiction. Pakistan’s concern is also increasing with the fact that India is already controlled by the Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers and now if India is active on other rivers of the Indus basin, then its water crisis will become serious.

Shehbaz Sharif Warns India of “Serious Consequences” If the Indus Water Treaty is Touched… BeCause in Pakistan’s WorldView, Water is off-Limits But Exporting MILITANTS MILITANTS IS FAIR GAME.

Pahalgam terrorist attack
After the terrorist attack on April 2025 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India took a major step and temporarily suspended the 1960 Indus Water Agreement. This decision was taken in the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting, which was aimed at teaching Pakistan a lesson to protect terrorism. After this decision, there is a stir at both political and military leadership levels in Pakistan.

Possible crisis for Pakistan
The Indus, Jhelum and Chenab rivers have 80% irrigation and agricultural production of Pakistan. These rivers meet 70% of its water needs. In case of water stopping, sowing and harvesting will be affected both in both kharif and rabi season. There will be a shortage of drinking water in big cities like Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. The textile sector, which holds 60 per cent of the total exports of Pakistan, will also be seriously affected. Pakistan’s 33% of the electricity comes from hydropower, which will also be affected.

1960 Indus Water Agreement: Background
India has got control of Ravi, Vyas and Sutlej under the 1960 Indus Water Agreement in the World Bank’s mediation. Pakistan was given control of Indus, Jhelum and Chenab. Now, the settlement of the agreement and the introduction of new projects is likely to change the balance.

Amid threats by Pakistan Army Chief General Aseem Munir and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhatto, Islamabad has again been begged to India for water. Pakistan has appealed India to restore the Indus Water Treaty. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has fully implemented the Indus Water Treaty and welcomed the Exitation of the Court of Arbitration. However, India has never recognized the permanent arbitration court and rejected its proceedings.

Pakistan begged in front of India for water

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry posted on X and said, “We appeal to India to immediately restore the normal functioning of the Indus Water Treaty. India fully and honestly fulfill the obligations of this treaty. We welcome the verdict of the court on 8 August 2025 on the General Examination of the Sindhu Water Treaty (IWT), which has been released on the court website on 8 August 2025.”

This decision clarifies the design standards of the new run-off-the-Indri Hydroelectric power project to be made by India on Western rivers Chenab, Jhelum and Indus. In this decision, the court said that India should allow the water of western rivers to reach Pakistan without any restriction. Apart from this, the rules of the treaty should also be strictly followed in cases of hydropower project. According to India, making such a court is a big violation of the Indus Water Treaty.

Bilawal Bhutto and Asim Munir’s jackal

Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto gave India a jackal of war on the Indus Water Treaty on Monday. He said that if India postpones this treaty and builds a dam, then there will be war against India. He said, “We have to raise our voice against Modi, so that we can stop the oppression that is happening on us. For this we need the people of Pakistan.”

At the same time, Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir, who went on a US tour, threatened India for nuclear war during an event there. Referring to the Indus Water Treaty, Asim Munir said, “We are a nuclear country.” If Islamabad feels the danger of existence from India, then he will drown half the world with him.

‘Pakistan’s old habit threatening nuclear weapons’

On Monday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said on Asim Munir’s statement, “Threatening nuclear weapons has been the old habit of Pakistan. Such irresponsible statements force the international community to question the credibility of Pakistan’s nuclear command and control. It is regrettable that these comments have been made from a friendly country (America). Will keep taking steps. “

Also read: ‘Modi’s step is right’, the former US officer said, amid tariff threats, the fire will be trumped on hearing

Pakistan on indus water treatment: Pakistan has accused India of unilaterally weakening the Indus Water Treaty in the 25th Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) session of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The session focused on the subject of ‘Right to Water’, in which Pakistan’s permanent representative Syed Fawad Sher expressed concern about India’s attitude.

Pakistan said – India’s water policy will increase regional crisis
Syed Fawad Sher said in his address that an attempt to unilaterally change the rules of Indus Water Treaty by India can create a serious crisis for Pakistan, which is already facing water crisis.

He said that the right to water is not only legal, but also morally and socially important, and India’s strict stance can further increase the climate -related climate challenges in South Asia.

OC and International Forums Support
Fawad Sher also reminded that OC’s foreign ministers have already expressed concern about India’s decision. Apart from this, many countries and organizations of the world have appealed to continue the Indus Water Treaty. He reiterated that Pakistan will continue to raise this issue on international forums to protect its water rights.

India increased the speed of Indus water project
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indus Water Treaty is currently cold and in the meantime India has started working fast on four big hydropower projects in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the report of Hindustan Times, work is going on on the banks of the Chenab river on Pakal Dul, Kiru, Quar and Ratle projects. These projects can start between May 2026 to July 2028. Apart from this, the design of two more hydroelectric projects is also being prepared. India clearly says, till the Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism across the border, these projects will continue to grow at full pace.

Since the postponement of India’s water Indus agreement, Pakistan has been craving for every drop of water. The flow of water in the Indus basin is decreasing rapidly. & Nbsp;

CNN-News 18, citing official Pakistani data on Sunday (June 8, 2025), stated that there has been a decline of 15 percent in water release from major dams compared to last year. This huge decline has brought major reservoirs closer to their dead storage levels, causing more concern before the significant kharif crop season.

On June 5, the total water released in Punjab, Pakistan was 1.24 lakh cusecs, which is less than 1.44 lakh cusecs recorded on the same date last year. The water level in the Tarabella dam of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was at 1,465 meters, which was slightly above the dead level of 1,402 meters.

The situation in Sialkot was particularly serious
The Chashma Dam on Sindhu in Punjab, Pakistan was 644 meters, which was close to 638 meters of its dead level. The water level in Mangla Dam on Jhelum in Mirpur fell to 1,163 meters, which was close to the 1,050 meter limit. The report said that the situation in Marala of Sialkot is particularly serious, where the Flow of the Chenab River fell dramatically from 26,645 cusecs to only 3,064 cusecs till 5 June."Text-Align: justify;"> A major crisis on Pakistan’s food reserves
According to the report of News18, the situation in Pakistan is clearly serious, especially for the Kharif season from June to September. Pakistan is now estimated to have 21 percent water shortage during the initial period of Kharif. Due to this, the food grains of the country are at risk on agricultural production in Punjab.

Ever since India suspended the Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan has written a letter to New Delhi several times to reconsider it. Hindustan Times recently stated that Pakistan’s Water Resources Secretary Syed Ali Murtaza has written a letter 4 times to the Ministry of Water Power of India. & Nbsp;

Addressing the Grand Jatra held in Peshawar, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has once again jumped about the Indus Water Agreement. He said that Pakistan has the right to every drop of water coming under the Indus Water Treaty. He said, “India repeatedly threatens to shut down the water. If this is done, we will answer the same as it was given before.”

Shahbaz is lying to make the public happy

Taking avenge of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army entered Pakistan and destroyed 9 terrorist bases. After this, Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to attack the Indian military bases, in response to which the Indian Army once entered Pakistan and created such a devastation that it will never forget. On the issue of terrorism, where Pakistan’s kididi is being held all over the world, PM Shahbaz praised himself by mentioning his recent journey.

Four countries praise Pakistan- Shahbaz Sharif

After the defeat to India, Shahbaz Sharif visited Turki, Iran, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan between 25 and 30 May. He said that all countries praised Pakistan. To make his people happy, he said, “All countries praised Pakistan’s victory. This victory is necessary for Pakistan’s reputation as well as regional stability.”

Iran refuses to issue a statement against India

The Pakistani PM is beating his public in front of his people that he also defeated India in diplomacy. While Iran told Pakistan in a strict tone that it would not go against India. Shahbaz Sharif and Pakistani Army Chief General Munir visited there to get Iran’s support, but Iran refused to comment against India nor supported Pakistan’s approach.

A ceasefire between the two countries was announced today after three days amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. According to media reports, the Director General of India Military Operation was called for ceasefire on behalf of DGMO of Pakistan. It is expected that after the ceasefire, no action will be done by Pakistan and the people living in the border areas will get relief. This war between India and Pakistan is also eyeing the neighboring country of India along with the whole world in which China stands with Pakistan but we tell you which country can stand in whose favor from Nepal-Bangladesh to Maldives-Sri Lanka.

Nepal
Nepal has supported India in action against terrorism. It has been said by Nepal’s Foreign Ministry that Nepal stands with India in this hour of grief. A statement issued by Nepal said that Nepal condemns the barbaric terror attack and he should be answered against all kinds of terrorism. At the same time, Nepal has hoped to end the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan soon.

Bangladesh
After Sheikh Hasina left power, Bangladesh’s stance has been against India. Mohammad Yunus’s interim government is engaged in improving relations with Pakistan. Today, a lot of voices are raised against India in the same Bangladesh, which India had liberated from Pakistan, people keep talking about breaking India’s North-East. In Bangladesh, the sympathy of the people and the government there is more towards Pakistan.

Maladive
Maldives President Mohammad Mujju came to power by spewing poison against India. The minister of his government has also given a statement against Prime Minister Modi. However, India
Last year, Maldives has been helped, after which the President Mohammad Mujju, who came to power by raising anti -India slogans, is from revenge, although nothing can be said about how long his attitude will be. President Mohammad Mujju is more inclined towards China. Maldives can remain neutral on the issue of India and Pakistan.

Sri Lanka
The relations between India and Sri Lanka have been seen for some time. The two countries have a very old cultural and historical background. Every year a large number of people from India visit Sri Lanka and during the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, India had helped Sri Lanka a lot. Sri Lanka is a resident of neutrality on the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan.

Ravindra Bhati said that at the same time I want to request that Appendix Rajasthan has always struggled with lack of water, so if the water of Indus is not bend like western Rajasthan, then this area will definitely become green. He said that certainly you cannot stop the water for a long time, you have to get it somewhere. Therefore, I feel that if this water gets this water, then the area will develop, which will bring prosperity. People here can move forward. Pakistan can also get a befitting reply.

According to Bhati, there is a problem of drinking water and irrigation in districts like Barmer, Jaisalmer and Balotra.
