There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued admit cards for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer – Acio) Grade -II/Executive Recruitment Examination. Candidates can now download their admit card by visiting the official website mha.gov.in.

This recruitment is a great opportunity for the youth of the country who dream of serving in the intelligence department. Tier-1 exam will be held on 16, 17 and 18 September 2025.

Recruitment will be done on so many posts in examination

Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 3,717 vacancies will be filled in the Intelligence Bureau. These posts are distributed at different centers all over India. Every year lakhs of candidates participate in this exam and are selected after strict competition.

What will be the exam pattern?

Tier-1 exam will be in online mode and a total of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked. The subjects appearing in the exam will be as follows-

• Current Affairs
• General Studies
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Logical/Reasoning Ability
• English language

  Each question will be of 1 point, but remember -negative marking of 4 (0.25) points will be applicable on the wrong answer. The total duration of the examination has been fixed at 1 hour.

  Candidates receiving minimum cut-off marks in Tier-I will be called for Tier-II up to 10 times the number of vacancies. In the Tier-II exam, the candidate is required to get a minimum of 33% marks (17 out of 50). After this, based on the joint performance of Tier-I and Tier-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III ie interview.

  2. Click on the link “Recruitment for Acio Grade II/Executive” here.
  3. Now enter your user ID and password on the login page.
  4. After login, you will get the option of admit card download.
  5. Download the admit card and take out the print and take it to the examination center.

If you are dreaming of working in India’s prestigious Intelligence Bureau (IB), then there is good news for you. The Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs has announced bumper recruitment to the posts of Security Assistant and Executive. Under this recruitment process, qualified candidates will be appointed for a total of 4987 posts. The process of online application for this recruitment has started from 26 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply till 17 August 2025. The last date for paying online fees has been fixed on 19 August 2025.

Who can apply?

To apply for this post, the candidate should have a certificate of passing 10th from a recognized board. Apart from this, those who have other essential qualifications related to it can also apply.

How much salary will be received?

Selected candidates will get salary from 21,700 to 69,100 per month. This salary has been decided according to the pay scale of the central government, in which there is an increase from time to time.

What is age limit?

For applying for these posts, the age of the candidate should be between 18 and 27 years (as will be valid on 17 August 2025). As per government rules, reserved class candidates will be exempted:

OBC 3 years discount

How will the selection process be?

Candidates will be selected in three stages. In Tier-1 exam, multiple choice questions of 100 marks will be asked, which will have topics like general awareness, mathematical capacity, logic, English and general studies. The exam will be of one hour and a negative marking of 1/3 marks will be done on each wrong answer.

There will be a paper of 50 marks in the Tier-2 exam and the exam duration will be one hour. It will have analytical and communication ability to test the candidates. In the Interview (Tier-3) 2, successful candidates will be called for interview. This interview will be of 50 marks.
