Now on Sunday (September 21, 2025), an MP from Iran, while exposing the truth, said that this missile projection seen in the sky of Iran in a video went viral was a successful test of an ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile). This missile is made up of space launch vehicle (SLV) technology, which has a firepower of more than 10,000 kilometers.

The Iranian MP claimed that this missile could reach the US and Europe as well. The new missile is taken from an SLV (satellite launch vehicle), which was part of the space program. It is one of the most advanced missile tests of Iran. Smoke marks were seen in the video, which are being told evidence of the projection.

Explain that ICBM is a long -range ballistic missile, which can penetrate the goals located at a distance of more than 5500 kilometers. It is an air to surface missile and it can also carry nuclear weapons.

Iran has no concrete proof of ICBM

However, a report by the US Defense Intelligence Agency (Dia, 2025) stated that Iran can develop an ICBM by 2035 if decided now. Currently, Iran has a medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBM) with a 2000–3000 km-range biliary-range like Khorramshahr-4 and Fatah-2, but there is no concrete evidence of ICBM.

According to the 2025 report by the Arms Control Association, Iran’s rocket program named Simarg is currently in the initial prototype phase. In future, it can be used to create a long distance intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), but it is not so at the moment. The report also states that Iran has more than 3000 missiles, but it does not have any ICBM.
