IndiGo Q4 Results: The net profit of Interglobe Aviation, the country’s largest airline, has increased by 62 percent to Rs 3,068 crore in the January-March quarter (fourth quarter) of the previous financial year 2025. The company’s net profit during this period a year ago was Rs 1,894.8 crore.

On Wednesday, the company has been told that its fourth quarter has the highest profit ever. After this, it has been recommended to give a dividend of Rs 10 per equity share by the board of the directors of the company.

According to a statement issued by the company, the number of passengers of IndiGo has increased by 19.6 percent to 3.19 crores in the fourth quarter of financial year 2024-25. With the operations, the company has made a profit of Rs 22,152 crore, that is, a rise of 24 percent has been seen. It was Rs 17,825 crore a year ago during the same period.

100 dividend announcement

The company said in a statement that Indigo’s net profit for the last financial year was Rs 7,258.4 crore for the last financial year. Except for the impact of foreign currency exchange, IndiGo recorded a net profit of Rs 8,867.6 crore. ”

On behalf of IndiGo said, “Indigo’s net profit for the March quarter was Rs 3,067.5 crore, which is the highest in any fourth quarter of the company so far.” IndiGo’s passenger ticket income increased by 25.4 percent to Rs 19,567.3 crore in the March quarter, while the other income increased by 25.2 percent to Rs 2,152.5 crore. Indigo Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Alberg said that in the last financial year, the airline made a total of 11.8 crore people.

Here, JK Tire and Industries Limited ended March 2025, the integrated net profit of the fourth quarter of the last financial year financial year has come down by 42.5 percent to Rs 98.66 crore. The company’s profits have reduced due to increase in spending and adverse foreign exchange effects. JK Tire and Industries Limited gave this information to the stock markets. The company earned an integrated net profit of Rs 171.66 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

IndiGo Airline: The Income Tax Department has taken a big action on the airline company IndiGo (IndiGo) and fined Rs 944.20 crore. In a regulatory filing on Sunday, IndiGo said that the Assessment Unit of the Income Tax Department (Income Tax Authority) has passed an order to impose a fine of Rs 944.20 crore for 2021-22.

It further stated, this order has been passed on the basis of this wrong understanding that the appeal made by the company against its 143 (3) order has been rejected by the Income Tax Commissioner (Appeal) CIT (A), while the truth is that the matter is pending and the decision is to come.

The decline in IndiGo shares

According to the documents filed, the company is confident that the order passed by the Income Tax Authority is not in accordance with the law and is flawed. IndiGo has decided to take appropriate legal steps against this order. The company has also said that this order will not have any significant impact on their financial condition, operation or other activities. However, this has led to a slight decline in Indigo shares.

IndiGo’s stock closed at a level of Rs 5,100 with a decline of 0.54 percent on Friday. The company’s stock has jumped up to about 14 percent in the last one month. In the last 6 months, investors have been given 6.5 % returns in the last 6 months and up to 43 percent during one year.
