US President Donald Trump has ordered his Defense Ministry Pentagon to immediately start testing nuclear weapons. Trump wrote on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that America needs to conduct nuclear tests on the same level as Russia and China.

President Trump said, “In view of the testing of other countries, I have instructed the Department of War that America should begin its testing soon.” It is noteworthy that America last conducted a nuclear test in Nevada on September 23, 1992, after which the then President George H.W. Bush had banned underground nuclear tests.

Questions raised regarding the timing of Trump’s order

Big questions are being raised about the timing of Trump’s order, because he had met Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea just a day before. At the same time, Russia has recently tested its nuclear weapons. In such a situation, this decision of Trump has come in an environment of global tension.

Trump made a big claim

Trump claimed that America has the largest number of nuclear weapons in the world, but according to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), Russia has about 5,500 nuclear warheads, while America has about 5,044.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered exercises to prepare for a nuclear attack. The Russian military test-fired intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) Yars and Sineva missiles, as well as long-range cruise missiles from Tu-95 bomber aircraft. Responding to these tests, Trump had said that Putin should focus on ending the war, not on missile testing.

Trump’s order for nuclear testing has created a stir globally. Experts say this move could weaken global disarmament efforts and could also be considered a violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which the US signed in 1992.

IAEA warned

The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) has warned that if America resumes testing, it could give rise to a new arms race. US Senator Elizabeth Warren said, “Trump is making nuclear weapons a toy.”

Analysts believe that this step of America is in response to the increasing nuclear influence of Russia and China, but it can cause a major blow to international peace and stability.

Putin Reaction on Nobel Peace Prize: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday reacted to the Norwegian committee’s decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition activist Maria Corina Machado. Putin said that US President Donald Trump has been ignored.

Hours after the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize, Putin said, ‘Trump has done a lot for peace. The biggest example of this is the Middle East. Putin was referring to the recent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Gaza, which was finalized on Thursday and became effective from today.

‘The Nobel Committee has often honored the wrong people’

Putin further said that many times the Nobel Committee has given the award to people who have done nothing for peace. The prestige of this award has been lost to a great extent. However, he further said, ‘I don’t know whether Trump is eligible for this or not.’ Trump did not receive the Nobel Prize this year, even though his Republican allies and many countries, including Russia, lobbied in his favor.

Israel’s Prime Minister also gave a statement in support of Trump

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also supported Trump and said, ‘The Nobel Committee talks about peace and President Donald Trump makes it possible. He speaks the truth. President Trump deserves this honor.

Norway’s committee praised Machado’s struggle

This year the Nobel Peace Prize has been given to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. The Norwegian Nobel Committee said in its statement that this honor has been given to him for his tireless struggle to promote the democratic rights of the Venezuelan people and for a peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.

‘Trump will keep making peace deals’

At the same time, the White House, reacting to this announcement, said that the US President will continue to make peace agreements, end wars and save lives. The White House communications director wrote on X (formerly Twitter), ‘President Trump will continue to make peace deals, end wars, and save lives. There is humanity in his heart. There will be no one like him, who can make the impossible possible with his will power.

There is a possible turn in the Gaza struggle. In fact, on Friday (October 03), Hamas announced that he is ready to accept parts of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace proposal and has also proposed to release the hostages. This step is not only considered important in the regional political scenario, but mixed feelings are also being seen in the world.

After this announcement, the international community has reacted to this. From PM Modi to Macron, everyone has welcomed this decision. Other global leaders and institutions have also described this initiative of Hamas as welcome, but at the same time they have urged all the parties to take restraint and take forward the peace process.

Trump welcomed Hamas’s response

President Donald Trump welcomed Hamas’s response and pressured Israel to accept the ceasefire. Trump said on his social platform Truth Social that he is confident that Hamas is “ready for permanent peace” and urged Israel to stop the bombing in Gaza immediately, so that the hostages could be safely and quickly released. He also told that the conversation has already started at some points which need to be solved. Trump said, “It is not only about Gaza, but it is for a long -want peace in the Middle East.”

India

PM Modi wrote on X, “We welcome the leadership of US President Trump, as Gaza shows decisive progress in peace efforts.

Experts on india-pakistan relationship: After the conflict between India and Pakistan, ceasefire has been done. Now the opinion of experts has been revealed about this. They believe that India should not keep much focus on Pakistan. Instead, their focus should be on China.

According to Dr. Walter Ladwig, an international relationship expert at King’s College London, ‘America’s policy regarding India has been clear for years. It has to be developed as a strategic power in the Indo-Pacific region. This strategy is not only to balance China’s influence, but also to maintain regional stability. He said that India should not keep more focus on Pakistan. Instead, he should focus his focus on China, which is correct in terms of America.

Dr. Ladwig said that India’s 7% economic growth rate is promising for the US, but long -term stress with Pakistan can derail this development path of India. This is the reason that the US wants India to focus on the widespread strategic subjects of Asia instead of border controversies.

Sympathy with India over terrorism

After 26 people killed in Pahalgam terror attack, Western countries, Russia and even China showed solidarity against terrorism. Dr. Ladwig called it real sympathy and said that India’s military response was understood globally. He further said that like the 2019 Pulwama attack, this time India did not have to give dosier or additional evidence to raise support. The policy change shows that India is now in favor of direct and decisive action. This is an approach that was considered globally effective.

Indian Air Force influence in the world

Dr. Ladvig especially appreciated the Indian Air Force’s ability to carry out accurate attack. He said, “The Indian Air Force worked under Standard Military Protocols and met its military principles.” Dr. Ladvig also said that there was clarity in the plan of attack from India, which proved that the Indian Air Force is capable of attacking more widespread targets and carrying out more successful operations. This is the reason that India’s claims are being certified by visual and technical evidence, while Pakistan’s claims are limited to rhetoric only.

Why does America not want Indo-Pak struggle?

According to experts, ‘The conflict between India and Pakistan is contrary to American interests as it can not only stop India at the pace of development, but can also weaken India’s participation in the Indo-Pacific strategy. He says, “When it comes to America’s Indo-Pacific strategy, India’s role is important as a ballncer, especially in the context of China’s growing influence.”

This statement was made public a few hours before the formal confirmation of the Government of India.

German statement

Germany described the move as “a significant turn towards reducing stress”. Berlin said that this consent is a positive initiative to deal with the situation that was created between India and Pakistan in recent times.

Dialogue is key. The German Government has been in contact with both sides in the past days.

UK support

Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy described the decision of ceasefire as useful for peace and in collective interest. He hoped that both countries would fulfill this agreement and will adopt a diplomatic path even further.

Pakistan’s violation and India’s response

Hours after the formal announcement of the ceasefire, Pakistan opened the LoC and violated the ceasefire. The Indian Army strongly responded to this attack and thwarted several drone attacks sent by Pakistan from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has taken this violation seriously and clarified that the Indian Army has been given complete exemption for any necessary action. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said in a press conference that Pakistan should understand and restrain the seriousness of the situation. He also reiterated that India wants peace but is ready to give a befitting reply to any provocation.
