IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: There is good news for the youth who dream of making a career in the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). IOCL has issued a notification for recruitment of 523 posts of apprentice in Northern Region. The application process for recruitment will start from 12 September 2025 and its last date has been fixed at 11 October 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website iocl.com or apprenticeship portal.

To apply for these posts, the candidate must have at least 10th pass degree. Apart from this, 12th pass candidates, graduates and diploma holders are also eligible to apply. The minimum age limit for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age limit has been fixed at 24 years. However, candidates of reserved category (SC, ST, OBC etc.) will be given exemption in the maximum age limit under government rules.

How will the selection be?

The process of selection in IOCL Apprentice Recruitment has been kept very simple. No written examination will be conducted here. Candidates will be selected on merit basis. That is, eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of educational marks. After this, a final selection will be done through document verification and medical exam.

In Indian Oil, more than 1700 posts of Apprentice have been recruited for 10th, 12th, diploma and graduate pass youth. The process of online application for these posts has started from May 3 and now its last date is 2 June 2025.

Who can apply?

To join this recruitment, candidates must have a 10th, 12th, ITI, diploma or graduation degree from a recognized board or university. Candidates doing courses like BA, BSc, BCom can also apply. How much is age limit?

Which posts are included?

This recruitment includes technical and non-technical posts like Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, Fitter, Operator. The total number of vacancies is 1770. According to every trade, qualifications and responsibilities have been fixed.

How will the selection be?

In this apprentice recruitment, selection will be done on the basis of shortlisting, document verification and medical test. Candidates whose name will come in the shortlisting list will be called for document verification. This process can be between June 16 to June 24 and the list can be released by 9 June.

Will get a chance of stipend and training

Under this scheme, selected candidates will be given one year i.e. 12 months training. During this time, according to the Apprentice Act, he will also get a stipend (salary) every month.
