Apple has finally released the public beta of iOS 26, in which the company has introduced the biggest design change ever under the name ‘Liquid Glass’. After the iOS 7, such a large visual change is being seen for the first time, in which your iPhone screens, apps, icons and controls become animated with transparent, shiny and light reflections like glass. Apple himself is saying that this update will fully refresh the user experience of every day, as well as many AI powered features, live translation and new gaming centers.

What is Liquid Glass and what does it look like?

Liquid Glass is the new visual style of iOS 26 that gives the entire system UI a glass-transparent, life-light reflex animation. Now you will get notifications, lock screen, app icons, music players, camera, safari, messages, transparent, live movements and 3D effects everywhere. Dynamic 3D Photo Effects on Lock Screen, new Skyscrapping Clock and Semi-Transparent App Ikon Apple on home screen have been given for the first time. There is also an option to reduce transparency in settings, so that if you do not like too much glass or overlap, the user can tonge its experience.

Many more new features

• Live Translation: Now the support of real-time live translation has been found in Messages, FACETIME, Phone App. Any language barrier during chatting or calling will handle the AI-backd in-device translation itself.
• Apple Games App: For the first time in iOS 26, Apple has given Dedicated Games App, where all popular games, Friends Leaderboard, Party Codes, everything in the same place.
• Call SCRENING: “Call screening” has come for unknown calls, in which the phone will now ask for his name from the unknown collar.
• Hold Assistant & Updated Visual Intelligence: New AI features of image search on notification and Safari when the music ends in hold mood on the phone.
• Wallet App, Alarm Customization, Genmoji/Playground: Passport Storing, Alarm Snuz Time Settings and new special emoji features are also included.

Which iOS 26 can run Public Beta?

To install iOS 26 Public Beta, you must have a iPhone 11 or new model iPhone. Older devices such as iPhone XR or below models do not support this update. The full supported iPhone list is on Apple’s beta website. Keep in mind that there may be problems like Bugs, Battery Drain or App Crash in the beta version, so definitely think before the main or work phone!

How to install iOS 26 Public Beta

• Create backup: Make a full backup on the iCloud or computer of your iPhone before the update.
• Apple Beta Open the website: in your iPhone’s Safari Browser Beta.apple.com Open
• Sign in from Apple ID: Login from your Apple ID in Public Beta Software Program.
• Enroll the device: Select the ‘Enroll Your iOS Device’ from the menu and follow the guideline.
• Open iPhone settings: Settings> General> Software Update.
• Tap on beta updates: Select ‘iOS 26 Public Beta’.
• Download and Install: Tap on ‘Download and Install’.

Note: If the iPhone can be restarted during install and the update file can be around 6-7GB or more, then take care of space and battery.
