American tech giant Apple will not reduce the production of its iPhone Air. The company will continue the production of this phone as per the pre-determined target during the third and fourth quarters. Actually, there were many such reports in which it was said that the demand for this iPhone, Apple’s thinnest till date, is weak, due to which the company may reduce its production. A recent report states that in the fourth quarter of this year, Apple will make 70 lakh units as per the target.

According to a new note from TD Cowen, Apple will not reduce the production of iPhone Air this year. A target has been set to manufacture 30 lakh units in the third quarter of the year and 70 lakh units in the fourth quarter and there will be no cut in this. If we talk about the entire iPhone 17 series, 54 million units will be made in the third quarter and 79 million units will be made in the fourth quarter.

According to reports, the demand for iPhone Air remains stable. Due to the late start of its sales in China, its demand did not pick up pace and people in other markets did not like it much. However, the opposite happened in China and it was out of stock within hours of the booking starting.

The iPhone Air is Apple’s thinnest model so far and its thickness is only 5.6mm. Its thickness is 19 percent less than the company’s previous thinnest model iPhone 6, launched in 2014. Talking about its features, it has a 6.6 inch display with promotion technology. It has a single 48MP camera in the rear and a single 18MP center stage lens in the front. Apple has equipped it with the A19 Pro chipset of Pro models. The starting price of iPhone Air in India is Rs 1,19,900.
