Tipster Fixed Focus Digital has hinted about this cooling system on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Tipster says that this phone is going to come with excellent vapor chamber cooling. The company has used this system in iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models. If this is continued in foldable iPhone also, then it shows that Apple is considering this system as a success. In view of the heating complaints in models like iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro, Apple included a vapor chamber in 17 Pro models for the first time.

How does a vapor chamber cooling system work?

Vapor chamber cooling is a common method used for cooling in laptops and smartphones. In this system, liquid coolant is filled inside a heat pipe. After absorbing heat, this coolant turns into vapor and goes to the cold place of the device, due to which it again becomes liquid. In this way it spreads the heat over the entire surface, due to which the phone does not get hot. This cycle continues until the heat completely disappears from the phone.

What can be expected in the foldable iPhone?

The foldable iPhone will be launched with the name iPhone Ultra. It will have a 7.8 inch main display and a 5.5 inch cover display. This iPhone coming with A20 Pro chipset will be launched with a total of 4 cameras. A 5,800mAh battery pack can be found in this iPhone. In terms of price, this will be Apple’s most expensive iPhone till date. It is believed that its starting price could be around Rs 2 lakh.

According to leaked information, this foldable iPhone can be launched in China in three different storage options. The price of 256GB model is said to be around CNY 15,999 (about Rs 2.14 lakh). The 512GB variant can be priced around CNY 17,999 (about Rs 2.41 lakh). The price of 1TB storage model can be around CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs 2.67 lakh).

However, reports also suggest that Apple changes its prices in different countries. In such a situation, it is being estimated that the starting price of this phone in the global market may start from around $1999 (about Rs 1.85 lakh) while the price of larger storage variants may be higher than this.

Claim of low price also

Some other leaks also say that the starting price of this foldable iPhone could be around CNY 10,000 (about Rs 1.34 lakh). However, this claim is quite different from other reports, hence it is not considered confirmed yet.

RAM and hardware information

According to reports, this phone can get 12GB RAM. It is being told that Samsung can supply the memory module for this. This could be the same RAM configuration that Apple is planning to offer in some of its upcoming premium iPhone models as well.

There will be direct competition in the premium segment

If this foldable iPhone is actually launched then it could be among the most expensive and premium devices in the smartphone market. Besides, it can also give a tough challenge to the already existing brands in the foldable phone segment.
