The number of players in the IPL 2026 auction has once again reduced to 350....

The number of players in the IPL 2026 auction has once again reduced to 350. A few days ago, on December 9, the number of players included in the auction list was increased to 359. Now just 3 days before the mini auction, there is news that the same 9 players have been removed from the list. It is being told that the name of Swastik Chikara is also included among the players who have been dropped.

According to News18, the names of the players who were out of the auction list are Mani Shankar, Chama Milind, KL Srijit, Swastik Chikara, Rahul Raj, Virat Singh, Virandeep Singh, Chris Green and Ethan Bosch. All these players had set their base price at Rs 30 lakh, among which Swastik Chikara was released by RCB. BCCI had added these 9 players to the auction list a few days ago.

Mani Shankar is a big-hitting player of Tripura, while Swastik Chikara was included in its squad by RCB last year. Chikara did not get a chance to play even a single match. Virat Singh is a player from Jharkhand and has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The name of Malaysian all-rounder player Virandeep Singh has also been removed from the auction, who has taken more than 3000 runs and 105 wickets in T20 cricket. His base price was also Rs 30 lakh. Ethan Bosch of South Africa and Chris Green of Australia are also out, whose base price was Rs 75 lakh.

More than 1000 players had registered their names for the auction. Of these, BCCI had shortlisted only 350 players. After that 9 new players were added to the list, but now the same number of players have been removed. The auction will start on December 16 at 2:30 pm in Abu Dhabi.

The IPL 2026 auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on 16 December. A total...

The IPL 2026 auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on 16 December. A total of 359 players will be auctioned, but only 77 slots are vacant in all 10 teams. This means that out of 359 players, only a maximum of 359 players will be able to be sold. Famous players like Cameron Green, Liam Livingstone and Devon Conway will be seen in this auction.

Generally, the player whose name appears first in the auction is expected to get bids worth crores of rupees. Which player will be the first to bid in the mini auction of IPL 2026? Know which players are included in the first set.

Which players are in the first set?

The first set of IPL 2026 auction includes 6 players, out of which two Indian and four foreign players are present. Prithvi Shaw, Sarfaraz Khan, Devon Conway, Jake Fraser McGurk, Cameron Green and Tim David have been kept in the first set. Bidding will be placed on one of these players.

Which player will be bid first?

There is a lot of discussion about Australian all-rounder Cameron Green because he can fulfill the needs of many teams. With the release of Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer and Moeen Ali, KKR is in dire need of an all-rounder. Kolkata Knight Riders have Rs 64.30 crore left in their purse, so they can spend a lot of money on Green.

Apart from this, with the departure of Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran, CSK also needs an all-rounder who can bat in the middle order and can also bowl. At the same time, Sunrisers Hyderabad is also looking for a strong middle order batsman. Amidst so much demand, it is possible that Cameron Green’s name may be mentioned first in the auction.

A total of 350 players have been shortlisted for the IPL 2026 auction. The auction will be held on December 16 and the auction will start at 1:30 pm. Let us remind you that a total of 1355 players had registered in the auction, but BCCI has canceled the cards of more than 1000 players.

Veteran players like David Miller, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow will be included in this auction. Meanwhile, the performance of some uncapped fast bowlers has also been commendable. See here the list of those 5 fast bowlers, who can get bids worth crores of rupees in the auction.

These 5 uncapped players will become millionaires!

Aaqib Nabi

This fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir came into limelight during the Duleep Trophy this year. In the quarterfinal match of the tournament, he took four wickets in 4 balls. He remains the second highest wicket-taker so far in the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season. He has taken 29 wickets in 9 innings. In the T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he also created discussion by taking a 4-wicket haul. This recent form can make him a millionaire in the mini auction.

Mani Grewal

25-year-old Mani Grewal, who played for Delhi, emerged as the star bowler of Delhi Premier League. He was the bowler taking the most wickets in the entire tournament. He took 20 wickets in 11 matches. The ability to bowl accurate yorkers and good pace can fetch him a good amount of money in the auction.

aqib khan

Uttar Pradesh’s young bowler Aaqib Khan is only 21 years old, but his achievements are big. Aaqib Khan was selected for the Emerging Asia Cup last year, but he did not get many opportunities. In the current season of Ranji Trophy, so far he has taken 8 wickets in 3 innings. Expert in swinging the ball with good speed. Has taken 52 wickets in 19 first-class matches.

Ashok Sharma

Rajasthan’s 23-year-old bowler Ashok Sharma is wreaking havoc in the T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy these days. Has taken 19 wickets in only 7 matches. He has previously been a part of the squads of Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Looking at the current form, there may be a bidding war for him in the auction.

Raj Limbani

If a team wants to add a young fast bowler for the long term, then 20-year-old Raj Limbani, who plays for Baroda, can be a good option. Has taken 15 wickets after playing 7 matches in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In a recent match, he took 3 wickets giving only 5 runs. The Under-19 Asia Cup played in 2023 also gave him recognition, where he took 7 wickets for 13 runs in the match against Nepal.
