The record for scoring the most runs in a single IPL season is in the name of Virat Kohli, who scored 973 runs in 2016. Who has won the most orange caps?
The record for winning the Orange Cap the most number of times in the history of IPL is in the name of David Warner, who has achieved this feat thrice. Warner won the Orange Cap in 2015, 2017 and 2019. He had achieved this feat all three times for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner is the first player in the world to win the Orange Cap three times.

How many times did Virat-Rohit win the Orange Cap?
Virat Kohli has won the Orange Cap twice in the Indian Premier League. He won the Orange Cap in 2016 by scoring 973 runs, which is still the most runs in a single season. After that, in 2024, Virat once again became the batsman who scored the most runs in the season. He has achieved this feat both times while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Rohit Sharma has never been able to win the Orange Cap in his IPL career. The highest number of runs scored by Rohit in a single season is 538, which he scored in the 2013 season. Rohit has scored 7046 runs in 272 matches so far in his IPL career. In terms of scoring the most runs, he is behind only Virat Kohli, who has 8661 runs in his name.

In the history of the Indian Premier League, there have been only 3 bowlers who have taken 30 or more wickets in a season. While playing for Chennai Super Kings in 2013, Dwayne Bravo took 32 wickets, which is still the record for taking the most wickets in a season. Kagiso Rabada took 30 wickets for Delhi Capitals in 2020. Whereas Harshal Patel equaled Dwayne Bravo’s record by taking 32 wickets in IPL 2021. Apart from him, no bowler has been able to achieve the feat of taking 30 wickets in a season.
