Gujarat Titans Practice IPL 2025: Both sides have agreed on India and Pakistan on India Pakistan Ceasefire. According to some reports, now BCCI may soon announce to resume IPL 2025. There is speculation that the tournament can be resumed on 16 or 17 May, while the final can be played on 30 May or 1 June. Now according to a new update, Gujarat Titans has become the first team to start practicing again.

According to the Times of India, after the consensus on the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the Gujarat Titans has started practicing at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Let us know that Gujarat is currently seated in the first place in the IPL 2025 points table with 16 points. Quoting the Times of India, a Gujarat team official said that the team is in a very good condition and is ready to roar once again.

The BCCI has urged all 10 teams to gather the players of the team as soon as possible. There are still 16 matches (including playoffs) in the tournament, which can start from 16 May. It was revealed in this report that the entire team of Gujarat has united and was seen practicing together. Right now only Jose Butler and Gerald are not part of the Koetzi team.

IPL 2025 winning contender

Gujarat Titans have been a big contender to win IPL 2025 from the beginning. Currently, 3 players of this team remain in the race for Orange Cap. Sai Sudarshan (509 runs), Shubman Gill (508) and Jose Butler (500 runs) have been scored. On the other hand, the Purple Cap is also currently with the player of Gujarat Titans. The famous Krishna of Gujarat remains a purple cap holder with 20 wickets. Gujarat has 3 matches left and it can secure a place in the top-2 of the table.

IPL 2025 Resume Date: On 8 May, Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings match was stopped due to security reasons. After that the IPL 2025 was suspended for a week, but now the question is when the tournament will be resumed. So far, BCCI has not released any schedule, but different claims are being made regarding the date of the tournament being resumed. Meanwhile, RCB may get a big shock as per the revelations in a media report as Josh Hazlewood may be out of the rest of the tournament.

Big shock to RCB

According to a report published in ESPN Cricinfo, there is a doubt on Josh Hazlewood’s return in IPL 2025. Hazelwood, who could not play in the match against CSK on 3 May due to shoulder pain problem. Had the IPL 2025 not suspended, there were chances that Hazlewood was going to miss the rest of the matches.

Hazelwood has been struggling with injuries earlier as well, due to which he had to be eliminated from some matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This Australia bowler himself has stated that he continued the rehab process in the early phase of IPL 2025. According to this report, Cricket Australia has not expressed much concern about Hazlewood’s injury. The Australian board is hoping that Hazlewood will be part of the conditioning camp to be held in the UK.

Purple Cap contenders in IPL 2025

RCB players are also in the race for Orange Cap and Purple Cap in IPL 2025. On one hand, Virat Kohli remains in the race of Orange Cap by scoring 505 runs. Josh Hazlewood is currently the highest wicket -taking bowler for RCB. Hazelwood has taken 18 wickets in 10 matches so far.
