KKR’s equation to qualify for playoffs is like this

1- Kolkata Knight Riders will have to win both their remaining matches.
KKR’s 13th match is against Mumbai Indians at home on Wednesday. After this, Ajinkya Rahane’s team has to face Delhi Capitals at home. Currently KKR has 13 points in 12 matches. If KKR wins the remaining two matches then its total will be 15 points.

2- Rajasthan Royals lost their last league match
Along with winning both their remaining matches, KKR will also have to pray for the defeat of Rajasthan Royals. If KKR wins both the matches then it will have 15 points, but if Rajasthan also wins its last match then it will have 16 points. In such a situation, Kolkata team will be able to reach the playoffs only if Rajasthan Royals loses its last league match.

3- Punjab Kings also lost their last league match
Punjab Kings currently have 13 points. His last league match is pending. KKR will also have to pray for the defeat of Punjab to qualify for the playoffs. That means we will have to win both our matches, and pray for the defeat of Rajasthan and Punjab. Only then can KKR enter the playoffs.

4- Chennai and Delhi matches will not affect KKR
Now whether Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals win or lose, their matches will have no impact on the equation of KKR.
