Allahabad University, established on 23 September 1887, is the oldest university in Uttar Pradesh. It is also called Oxford of the East because of its higher education and influential students. This university previously worked as a branch of the University of Kolkata. But later it became the fourth oldest in India and the first university in Uttar Pradesh. Before the establishment of Allahabad University, there were only four universities in the country. Kolkata, Madras, Bombay and Punjab. After the 1857 soldier rebellion, the British had made Allahabad their administrative capital. After this, this university should get more resources. During British rule, this university was given better education in subjects like Hindi literature, history and philosophy.

They are neither God, nor magicians, nor they have a lamp of Aladdin to complete any work immediately.” The tribunal admitted that the police did not have enough time due to sudden information, so they could not be convicted.

Relief to IPS officer Vikas Kumar
In this order, CAT also canceled the suspension of IPS officer Vikas Kumar Vikas. The central government suspended him two days after the accident. But the tribunal termed it wrong and said that this suspension period would be added to their service. Vikas Kumar was then Inspector General of Bangalore West Zone and Additional Commissioner of Police and was in charge of the security of the stadium.

On getting no help, the IPS officer’s wife asked her children to go out of the stadium and reached the Kabban Park Police Station and lodged a complaint.

The girl alleged that the person not only created unwanted physical contact, but also interfered in her privacy. He also told that no policeman was on duty in the diamond box at the time of the incident. The case is between 9.40 pm and 10.20 pm.

Based on his complaint, the police registered a case against two unidentified persons BNS Section 351 (criminal intimidation), 352 (deliberately insulting with the intention of disturbing peace), 75 (sexual harassment which includes physical contact with unwanted proposals) and 79 (insulting the dignity of the woman).
