Aamir Khan’s daughter Ayra Khan often talks openly about her problems. Now Ayra has talked about her increased weight and body image issue. She has shared a video on Instagram, in which she told that she was struggling with depression for some time.

In the video, Ayra said, ‘Let’s talk about the biggest problem. Yes, me. I am fat. I am fatter than my age and height. I have been struggling since 2020 with my body image issues and my relationship with food. Earlier I was struggling with depression, hence I was not comfortable talking about it. So I don’t know how it’s going to happen. This is affecting my ability to be involved in my friends’ lives, my relationship with my husband Nupur Shikhare, my self-worth, work and everything.

He further said, ‘This is as intense as my depression sometimes interfered in my life. Sometimes still gives. That’s why I want to talk about it. I want to talk about everything I’m struggling with. I hope this will help me. My advice is not to go to the comment section. If you go, it’s at your own risk.

Ayra also said, ‘Yes, I was vacillating between being fat or unfit for a long time. I became overweight and am fat since 2020. There is a lot to be said about this. I think even a small change is good for you, that’s why I thought of talking about it. When I talked about my depression, I was not that confident. But I think this should be talked about. I don’t have an eating disorder. Nor am I an expert. Just sharing my experience.
