Trump had also reminded Iran on the night of April 4 that he had given it 10 days to reach an agreement or open Hormuz. He said, ‘Time is passing fast. After 48 hours America will wreak havoc on them.

The US President had earlier said that Iran had asked for 7 days not to attack its power plant, but he decided to extend this time limit to 10 days, which ends on 6 April. Trump had told NATO to be a paper tiger

Trump had also asked NATO countries and China to help America in opening the Strait of Hormuz. However, when all the countries refused to help him, Trump got angry and called NATO a ‘paper tiger’ and said that without America, it is nothing. Not only this, he had even said that America does not need oil through this route and the countries which are dependent on it should take responsibility for it.

Iran closed Hormuz

Iran has imposed a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz. He has said that only ships of Iran’s friendly countries will pass through this waterway. Hormuz is completely closed to America, Israel and their friendly countries. This step of Iran has created an uproar in Asia and Europe. Oil crisis has arisen in countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
