According to the report, Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir can visit Iran on Thursday (21 May 2026) to announce the final phase of the agreement.

He said, ‘Ideally I would like to see fewer people killed rather than too many. We can do it some other way, but I would like to see less damage. Trump claimed that anger among people is increasing due to poor economic and social conditions in Iran. He said, ‘There is a lot of anger in Iran at the moment because people are living in very poor conditions. There is increasing dissatisfaction, which we had seen less before.

America lost 13 people: Trump

When asked if the talks were taking longer than expected, Trump compared it to America’s prolonged military deployments. He said, ‘You lived in Afghanistan for 10 years. Stayed in Iraq for a long time also. Was also deployed in Korea for seven years. Trump also said that in recent US military operations, fewer American soldiers have lost their lives than in earlier wars.

He said, ‘Lakhs of people were killed in other wars. Here we lost 13 people. However, the death of 13 people is also too many. The US President claimed that America has achieved major strategic successes even without a long military occupation. “We had basically gained control of Iran,” he said. However, he did not give detailed information about this claim.
