Tehran also rejected US President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the outcome of the recent discussions held in Muscat, Oman, calling them ‘complete lies’. The Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the talks focused on arrangements related to the management of the Strait of Hormuz and the security of international sea routes.

Iran expressed objection to the statement of UN Secretary General

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bakai has also objected to the statement of the United Nations (UN) Secretary General, in which he called Iran’s action a ‘military confrontation’. Tehran says this is not right. According to Bakai, Iran has exercised its legitimate right of self-defense after the attacks by America and Israel. One person has died and five people are injured in Khuzestan. Centcom said that the US military has started new attacks on Iran.
