China had helped Iran in its war with America in a way that US intelligence agencies could not even detect. American media has claimed that using Chinese spy satellites, Iran had conducted recce of American bases in the Middle East, due to which it had got complete information about the fighter jets and other military equipment present at the airbase.

TEE-01B satellite has been developed by Chinese company Earth Eye. This company claims that it does in-orbit delivery. That is, it sends satellites into space, which are acquired by foreign customers. This satellite can capture images at a resolution of about half a meter.

Trump had confessed about the attack

According to the report, the satellite had taken pictures of Prince Sultan Airbase of Saudi Arabia on March 13, 14, and 15. Trump had admitted on March 14 that there had been an attack on American aircraft present at the base, in which five refueling aircraft of the US Air Force were destroyed. The same satellite also monitored Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, the US naval base in Manama, Bahrain, and Erbil Airport in Iraq, around the time the IRGC claimed attacks on facilities in those areas. Leaked Iranian military documents revealed that the TEE-01B satellite was acquired by the IRGC’s Aerospace Force in late 2024 after being launched into space from China.

What did the expert tell about the satellite?

Iran affairs expert Nicole Grajewski said, ‘This satellite is clearly being used for military purposes because it is not being operated by Iran’s civilian space program but by the IRGC’s Aerospace Force.’ He said that Iran really needs foreign assistance during this war because it helps the IRGC to identify targets ahead of time and check the success of its attacks.

Which satellite did Iran use before Chinese satellite?

In contrast, based on Iranian claims, the IRGC Aerospace Force previously had the most updated satellite – Noor-3. Its 12–15 meter imagery was better, but still about 10 times less accurate than Chinese-made satellites and insufficient to identify aircraft or monitor activity at military targets.

Iran fired missiles at America and Israel

Iran gave a befitting reply to the attacks by America and Israel. Tehran continuously targeted American military bases in the Middle East. Iran’s drones and missiles also shot down dangerous fighter jets of America and Israel like F-16 and F-35. Many power plants, oil refineries and infrastructure have been destroyed through this satellite.
