Earlier, he had released a video, in which he had appealed to US President Donald Trump and Western countries not to make any compromise with the current government of Iran. This young man has been identified by Iranian media and social activists as Puriya Hamidi. He had recorded a video of about 10 minutes in English, which went viral on social media last weekend.

At the beginning of the video he said, ‘If you are watching this, I am no longer in this world.’ He told that he is making this video so that the world’s attention is drawn towards the alleged oppression in Iran. She said that during the recent protests, the Iranian government cracked down heavily on people and a large number of people were killed.

She also said that Trump had earlier told the people of Iran to keep protesting and they did so because he had confidence in him. But he said that it is not possible for common people to fight armed people and the people of Iran cannot defeat this government alone.
