Amidst the war between Iran and America, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given a shocking statement. Speaking in Germany, he said that India had tried to mediate between the two countries, but there is a time for everything. Let us tell you that Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey are mediating between the two parties, after which talks were held for the first time between the two countries in Islamabad.

Rajnath Singh, who reached Germany, was asked whether India can have any role in establishing peace amid the West Asia crisis, in response to which he said, ‘India has tried from its side, but you know that sometimes when there is a crisis, there is a problem. There is a time for everything. Maybe tomorrow the time will come when India will play its role in it and it will also get success. We cannot deny this possibility.

PM Modi had talked to both sides: Rajnath

The Defense Minister further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spoken on phone to both the sides, especially US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masood Pejeshkian and had also appealed to them to end the war. Rajnath Singh said that our Prime Minister has a very balanced approach in diplomatic matters.

The first round of talks was held in Islamabad

There was a ceasefire between America and Iran on April 8, after which Pakistan played an important role in talks between the two sides. Delegations from both the countries reached Islamabad on 11 and 12 April. The American delegation arrived under the leadership of JD Vance, while the Iranian delegation arrived under the leadership of MB Ghalibaf. About 21 hours long talks took place, but both sides did not agree and JD Vance left for Washington after holding a small press conference in Islamabad.

Second round of talks postponed

After the first round of talks, Donald Trump praised Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir. After that Munir went to Tehran and then both the countries agreed to come to the negotiating table once again, but the Iranian delegation did not reach Islamabad, after which the delegation led by JD Vance also did not come and these talks went on.
Trump announced to extend ceasefire

After the postponement of this conversation, Donald Trump has extended the ceasefire indefinitely. Trump said that on the appeal of Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir, he is extending the ceasefire so that Iran comes to the negotiating table with a concrete proposal.
