Shocking revelations have come to light in the police interrogation of Rahul Meena, the accused arrested in the murder of IRS officer’s daughter in Delhi. Accused Rahul Meena was interrogated by the police late at night and what was revealed after that surprised even the police.

According to the police, accused Rahul knew that the parents of the deceased girl go for a walk in the morning, because he had already worked there. Therefore, he was completely aware of the entire building, where all the locks were and how to open them. Sources said that in the morning Rahul entered the building and went straight to the girl’s study room. The study room is built separately on the roof top of the flat.

Police said that the girl was preparing for UPSC, hence her parents had asked her to get up early in the morning and study. When accused Rahul entered the girl’s room i.e. study room, she was studying at that time. It was told that Rahul strangled the girl to rape her. Tried to control her, but the girl protested.

The accused raped her while she was unconscious.

After this, the accused attacked the girl with a lamp kept nearby and some heavy object, due to which the girl became unconscious. Accused Rahul was so cruel that he raped the girl in an unconscious state. He had already come to the house with the intention of robbing it. He also knew that the locker in the house opens only through thumb impression.

Tried to open the lock with girl’s finger

After the rape, the accused dragged the girl from the study room and went down the stairs to the room. Where there was a locker and the blood soaked girl’s finger touched the locker but the locker did not open. According to the police, the girl’s blood circulation might have stopped and there was blood on her hands, which might be the reason why the locker was not opened. According to the police, it seems that the girl would have been dead by this time. The accused leaves the girl’s body on the floor.

The accused ran away wearing the girl’s brother’s pants

According to the police, after this the accused Rahul opened the locker with a screwdriver and took out cash and jewelery and kept them in the bag. There was blood on the pants and shoes of the accused, so he took off his pants and wore the pants of the deceased girl’s brother and wore the slippers lying at home and ran away from the spot with the bag.

The accused was addicted to earning money through gambling

According to the police, accused Rahul had developed the bad habit of earning money through gambling at a young age. According to police sources, accused Rahul used to play online 3 patti game through which he used to earn money. Rahul was addicted to girls, he used to earn money from online games and bring girls and have relations with them. Police said that the accused raped a married woman from the neighborhood in Alwar on April 21 and then bit her with his teeth and came to Delhi from there after threatening to kill her.

Reached Delhi on 22nd April and carried out the crime

According to police sources, during initial interrogation the accused said that the motive was robbery, but the interrogating officers said that it was quite possible that he already had an eye on the deceased girl and the accused had come only to commit the crime of rape and robbery. It has also been revealed that a day earlier the accused had committed rape in Alwar also. Police sources also said that the deceased girl was very promising in studies. She was also All India topper in 12th.

This is how the murderer was caught

In solving this entire case, the accused has been caught through three important digital clues. One was the stolen mobile phone, the other being the hotel’s WiFi and Instagram chat. According to the police, accused Rahul Meena had absconded with around Rs 2.5 lakh after the incident.

After this, several teams of Delhi Police were formed and the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby was scrutinized. Investigation revealed that the accused did not have his own mobile. In Alwar, Rajasthan, the accused Rahul had stolen a phone during a flirtation and using the same, he was trying to escape from the police.

The accused was using Instagram from the hotel’s WiFi.

Further investigation revealed that the accused was staying in a hotel in Dwarka. Where he was using internet through the hotel’s WiFi. During this time, Rahul was in constant touch with his relative living in Gurugram through Instagram Messenger. Delhi Police traced his location through Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR) and digital surveillance.

Interrogated the relative of the accused and took details. On the basis of all these technical clues and CCTV footage, the police was able to reach the accused and arrested him from a hotel in Dwarka.
