In an interview by Siddharth Kanan, Isha Koppikar had said, ‘An actor called me to meet me alone. I told me to come to meet them without a driver and anyone. Because there were rumors that they are involved with other actresses. He told me that there are many controversies about me and the staff spreads such rumors. But I refused to meet him, because I could not go alone. He was the A-Lister actor of the industry. At that time I will be 22-23 years old.

‘Will have to be friendly with actors’

Isha further told, ‘When I was 18 years old, an actor and secretary approached me for the casting couch. He told me that you will have to be friendly with actors to get work. I am very friendly but what do they mean by friendly here? I was so friendly that Ekta Kapoor told me to keep a little attitude.

In personal life, Isha got married in 2009 with businessman Timmy Narang. He also has a daughter. But this marriage did not go on. He divorced in 2023. Now Isha lives with daughter.

Isha has done all films like Don, Salam-e-Ishq, 36 China Town, Krishna Cottage, Qayamat, Loc Kargil, Hum Tum. Apart from Bollywood films, he has worked in South films. In 2024, he was seen in the Tamil film Ayalaan.

Choreographer insulted in front of everyone
Isha said- ‘When I was on the set, there was a lot of dance. You know South Dance, it is not easy. The choreographer told me in front of everyone- these girls come from Bollywood. They do not know anything. I do not know why they are taken. If you do not dance then why did you come here,

Cried in the van
Isha further said- ‘I felt very bad to hear all this. I felt humiliated. I went into my makeup van and cried a lot. After that I took it like a challenge. I said next time I will come to South, I will dance very well. I will not let anyone talk to myself like this. After that I called Saroj Khan’s assistant Usha ji. I told him- I have to learn dance. You teach me dance on all the songs of Saroj ji. She then took time out and used to come to my house and teach me dance every day.
