Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars: Pakistan Super League 2025 has started. The first match of the season was played between Islamabad United and Lahore Kalandars. Islamabad won by 8 wickets, performing a strong performance in the match played in Rawalpindi. Colin Munro and Salman Aga did amazing batsmen for him. At the same time, Jason Holder and Shadab Khan showed amazing in bowling.

Lahore scored 139 runs in 19.2 overs while batting first. For him, Shafiq scored 66 runs facing 38 balls. He hit 6 fours and 3 sixes. Alexander Raza scored 23 runs in 21 balls. Jason Holder bowled amazing for Islamabad. He took 4 wickets for just 26 runs in 4 overs. Shadab took 3 wickets for 25 runs in 3.2 overs. Nasim Shah, Riley Meredith and Imad Wasim got one wicket each.

Here is the real turning point of the match –

Sahibzada Farhan and Andrees Gaus came to opening for the Islamabad team to chase the target of Lahore. But both of them could not do anything special. Farhan was dismissed for 25 runs and Gaus 4 runs. But after this Colin Munro and Salman overturned the match. Munro scored 59 runs, facing 42 balls. He hit 7 fours and 1 six. Salman scored an unbeaten 41 runs. In this way Islamabad won by 8 wickets.

PSL’s second match will be played between Peshawar -Kavata –

The second match of PSL 2025 will be played between Peshawar Jalami and Quetta. This match will also be held in Rawalpindi. Another match will be played with it on Saturday. This will be the third match of the season. Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will clash.
