Chaudhary, while addressing reporters, described his (Rauf) computerized national identity card number, his date of birth, March 25, 1973 and called him a resident of Lahore. This information given by Chaudhary matches the details of the Rauf given in the Database of the Foreign Property Control Office (OFAC) of the Finance Department of America. Explain that the Finance Department of America keeps a list of specially designated citizens and terrorists.

ISPR said the meeting was a general administrative meeting, which was incorrectly introduced as a coup of coup.

ISPR’s statement clarified that the report did not have any concrete evidence or reliable information, which could confirm that the coup was being planned. The army described this report as “false and malicious” and said that this rumor is completely concocted. This is not the first time the media organization concerned has made incorrect reporting against the Bangladesh Army. Earlier, the same media group published another report in March 2025, which was rejected by the Bangladesh Army at that time.
