Israel Killed Muhammad Sinwar: Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has confirmed the killing of Hamas Chief Mohammad Sinwar. Hamas Chief South Gaza was hidden in a tunnel below a hospital in the strip. On 13 May, Sinwar was killed in IDF air strikes. Three days ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed to have killed Sinwar.

According to the IDF, this attack was done on the basis of accurate intelligence information, in which it was confirmed that no hostage is present at that place. After this, more than 50 missiles were fired in 30 seconds, which destroyed Hamas’s command and control center.

Mohammad Sinwar, Muhammad Shabana (Rafa Brigade Commander), and Mahdi Quara (Dakshin Khan Younis Battalion Head) were killed in the attack. Israel claimed that the structure of the hospital has not been damaged in the attack.

Strategic plan and caution of attack

This attack did not happen suddenly. According to the Wall Street Journal report, a meeting of senior Hamas leaders was reported to be held, the aim was to discuss the release of the ceasefire and the hostages. As soon as the IDF received information that there is no hostage at that place, the attack got the green signal. The Israeli army said that before this attack, they had taken extensive intelligence measures so that the citizens suffer the least loss.

Hamas’s emerging face was Mohammad Sinwar

Muhammad Sinwar was the younger brother of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. He was identified as a hardcore and strategic military commander. He played a major role in the plan of attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 and he was working as Operations Chief at that time.

Sinwar escaped from jail

Mohammad Sinwar was placed in captivity by Israel for nine months in the 1990s. After this, he spent three years in the jail of Palestinian Authority, from where he escaped in 2000. In 2006, IDF was involved in the abduction of military Giled Shalit. He led Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade and Military Campaign Department.

Israeli aistrike kills Hamas Leader: Hamas political leader Salah Al-Baradavil died in the Israeli air strike in Gaza. The attack took place in Khan Younis, where his wife also lost his life along with Bardavil. According to Hamas -backed media, Bardawil was a member of Hamas’s political office.

Israel has resumed its fight on Gaza on Tuesday (March 18), in which several goals were carried out by air strikes. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told Hamas to destroy Hamas as a military and ruling unit. This struggle has killed hundreds of people, which include a large number of women and children.

Prominent Hamas leaders killed
Many prominent Hamas leaders have been killed in the Israeli air strike in Gaza. Hamas’s real government chief Essam Adlyas and internal security head Mahmood Abu Watfa were killed in an Israeli attacks on Tuesday. The Israeli army also killed Hamas’s military intelligence chief Osama Tabash in southern Gaza. Israel described Tabash as head of Hamas monitoring and targeting unit. According to the Filistini Health Ministry, at least 400 people were killed on Tuesday, of which more than half of which were women and children.

Disagree on ceasefire between Hamas and Israel
There is disagreement between Israel and Hamas over the continuation of the three-step ceasefire that started in January 2023. During the ongoing discussions between the two sides, the United States has failed to resolve the Arab arbitrations supported by the United States. In the first phase, Hamas released about three dozen hostages in exchange for about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, but the second phase is still in the balance. The purpose of this phase was to ensure the release of the remaining 60 hostages, but both sides have not agreed to it. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to resume military action. After this, food and support supply in Gaza was stopped.

Increasing attacks and civil casualties in Gaza
Violence continues in Gaza since the Hamas border attack on 7 October 2023. About 1,200 people were killed and 250 hostage were held in this attack of Hamas. In response, Israel began a military attack, in which more than 48,000 Palestinians have been killed and about 90 percent of Gaza’s population has been displaced. Gaza’s Health Ministry said that more than half of the casualties are women and children. However, the Ministry of Health of Gaza does not distinguish between citizens and terrorists, causing the actual figure of casualties.
