This includes radar, UAV, missile system and electronic warfare equipment. India buys weapons from all countries of the world. Russia is on top in this. India buys weapons worth $ 21.8 billion from Russia. Apart from this, France, America, Israeli Series: 5.2 billion, 4.5 billion and $ 2.9 billion weapons are purchased. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self -sufficient Bharat Abhiyan, India is working on reducing dependence on foreign supply and increasing indigenous weapons. Projects like Barak-8 are milestones in this direction.
