Meeting will be held in UNSC
After the Israeli attack on Syria, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a meeting on Thursday (17 July 2025) for an emergency session on Israeli attacks on Syria. According to the report of the Anadolu news agency, the meeting has been requested by the United Nations Mission of Syria. This has been supported by the current UNSC member Algeria. According to Reuters, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Dannon has called for UNSC to condemn the Syrian government to condemn the barbaric crimes committed against innocent civilians on Syrian soil. He further said that Israel will continue to take strong action against any terrorist threat anywhere and at any time on its borders.

Israel ready to respond to Iran’s attacks

Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel has targeted Iran’s uranium enrichment center, nuclear weapons construction sites and the main plant at Natanj. Also, those scientists who were working on the Iranian atomic bomb were also targeted. Netanyahu said that Israel also attacked the main center of Iran’s ballistic missile program, as these missiles have the capacity to carry nuclear weapons in future.

He claimed that Iran could create 10,000 missiles in the next three years that may carry a ton of explosives. He described this danger as dropping 10,000 tonnes of TNT on a small country like New Jersey. Netanyahu called it an unbearable threat and said that it should be stopped under any circumstances.

Attack on Iranian Proxy Network
Netanyahu said that Iran is planning to surround Israel and on October 7, he attacked Israel directly through its proxy groups, but the Israeli people and the army together fought it firmly. He said that Hamas was crushed, Hezbollah was hugely damaged, and accurate attacks were carried out on Iranian proxies in Syria and Yemen. Twice when Iran attacked Israel directly, retaliation was taken inside Iran.
