Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Italy in the last leg of his five-nation tour. Here, along with Indian citizens, people of Italy also came to welcome him. On this occasion, Italian artists greeted the Prime Minister by giving music, dance and cultural presentations. Italian artist Francesco Gherardi shared his experience after performing in front of Prime Minister Modi. He told IANS that the presence of the Indian PM was very positive. He told that the Prime Minister kept clapping and encouraging the artists during the entire presentation. Francesco said that he also got the opportunity to shake hands with the Prime Minister and get photographed.

Artist Valerio Bruni said, “I thought Prime Minister Narendra Modi was really excited. He watched our presentation carefully and then applauded. I think he appreciated our presentation.” Calling it a memorable occasion for himself, Niccolo Melocchi said that it was a wonderful experience to present with the entire team in front of the Prime Minister. He said that he also got a chance to have a few words with the Prime Minister. Another artist Simone Mattiello said that the entire program was very enjoyable. Prime Minister Modi was feeling connected with the presentation of the artists.

Enthusiasm shown in PM Modi’s program

Leo Vartunni described the atmosphere of the program as full of energy and enthusiasm and said that the love of the Indian community present there for their Prime Minister was clearly visible. He said, “There was tremendous energy and we could feel the love of the Indian people for their Prime Minister. There was an interesting combination of celebration and energy.” Martina Argada said that Prime Minister Modi described the presentation of the artists as excellent. He expressed his gratitude to the Indian Embassy in Rome for this opportunity. Martina Argada said, “He (PM Modi) told us that the presentation was excellent. We are very grateful to the Indian Embassy in Rome for giving us the opportunity to present in front of the Indian Prime Minister.”

Kathak presentation to welcome PM Modi

Kathak artiste Rosella Fenelli said that performing Kathak to welcome Prime Minister Modi was a very emotional and special experience for her. He expressed hope that in future he will get an opportunity to meet Prime Minister Modi in India. Fennelly said, “It was a very good experience for me and my friends. We have been waiting for a long time, so our emotions were very high. I consider this opportunity a very good experience and I hope that we will be able to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India.
