Apart from this, the candidate should have at least two years of experience in the operation maintenance department of Indian Railways, Government Owned Railways, Metro Railways or RRTS. Selected candidates will be appointed on Absorption Basis under NE-2 pay level. They will get a salary ranging from Rs 35,000 to Rs 1,10,000 per month. After appointment, candidates will have to complete a probation period of one year. Along with this, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 400. Whereas SC, ST and women candidates have been exempted from the application fee.
