Bilawal bhutto on masood azhar: There are many dangerous and most wanted terrorists in Pakistan. These include Maulana Masood Azhar, who has troubled India a lot. Meanwhile, former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilwal and Pakistan People’s Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari gave an integration to Al Jazira, in which he claimed that Pakistan had no information about the hideout of Masood Azhar, head of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. He also said that if India proves that Azhar is in Pakistan, Islamabad is ready to catch it.

Bhutto claimed that Masood Azhar could be in Afghanistan. Citing the return of Western countries and the Taliban’s return to power in the country, Bilawal said, “It is not possible for Pakistan to do what NATO could not do in Afghanistan. There is no reason for us that we let any worrisome be active.”

The statement from Bhutto has come at a time when India targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and POK under Operation Sindoor. The attack was carried out in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April in which 26 civilians were killed. Bhutto also claimed that Azhar might be in Afghanistan as he was earlier active in Afghan jihad and now after the Taliban returns to power, there is more possibility of his activities there.

Masood Azhar is accused of Parliament and Mumbai attacks

India claims that Masood Azhar is located in Bahawalpur, Pakistan and conducts the activities of Jaish-e-Mohammed from there. India claims that Maulana Masood Azhar 2001 Parliament attack, 26/11 Mumbai attack, 2016 Pathankot airbase attack and 2019 Pulwama is the mastermind of suicide attacks.

Masood Azhar was declared a global terrorist by the United Nations in 2019. India’s special concern is that Pakistan repeatedly claims that it has no information, while its organization’s offices, madrasas and hideouts are running openly in Pakistan.

Pakistan got scared of operation vermilion

Operation Sindoor conducted by India was a decisive military action in which India demolished nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and POK. It included Bahawalpur and Muridak, which was the base of Jaish-e-Mohammed and the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Masood Azhar claimed that 10 members of his family and 4 colleagues were killed in these attacks. This statement indirectly confirms that he and his organization are working on the land of Pakistan.

Pakistan embarrassed in us: After Operation Sindoor, India sent an all -party delegation abroad to expose Pakistan on the issue of terrorism. While copying this, Pakistan also sent a delegation under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto, where it was fiercely insulted. Promoting India’s anti-terrorism stance on the international stage, senior US Congress Brad Sherman asked the Pakistani delegation to take decisive action against the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed and ensure the safety of minorities inside Pakistan.

While meeting the Pakistani delegation at Washington DC on Thursday (June 05, 2025), Sherman asked to release Dr. Shakeel Afridi. Dr. Afridi is a Pakistani doctor who was imprisoned to help the CIA to locate Osama bin Laden. Afridi had helped run a covart polio vaccination program to collect DNA samples from Bin Laden’s family in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Afridi, who was arrested soon after American Red on the premises of bin Laden in Abbottabad in May 2011, was sentenced to 33 years in jail in 2012. Sherman described Afridi’s release as an important step for the victims of 9/11.

What did Sherman say?

Sherman emphasized that Pakistan should make every effort to eliminate a disgusting group like Jaish and fight terrorism in the region. He especially emphasized the role of Jaish-e-Mohammed in the kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh was convicted for conspiring to kidnap and murder Pearl.

Sherman posted on the social media platform X, “I emphasized the importance of the Pakistani delegation to terrorism and especially the Jaish-e-Mohammed group, who killed Daniel Pearl, a resident of my constituency in 2002. Pearl’s family still lives in my district and Pakistan should make every effort to end this hate group and fight terrorism in the area.

Concern also expressed about atrocities on minorities in Pakistan

Apart from terrorism, Sherman also expressed concern about the behavior being done with religious minorities in Pakistan. He emphasized that Christians, Hindus and Ahmedia Muslims in Pakistan should be allowed to follow their religion independently and under democratic system without fear of violence, oppression, discrimination or uneven justice.

Sherman told the delegation, “Security of religious minorities in Pakistan remains an important issue.” He also emphasized on the ongoing international concerns about minority rights and religious freedom in Pakistan.

Operation Sindoor Impact: The terrible terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir shook the entire country. 26 innocent people died in this attack, most of whom were tourists. Jaish-e-Mohammed’s stronghold was ‘Markaj Subhanallah’ camp
Markaz Subhanallah Camp located in Bahawalpur in Punjab province of Pakistan was the center of this attack. The hideout was a major training center of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM), which was established by terrorist Masood Azhar. This camp was running in the name of Jamia Mosque and was used for terrorist recruitment, radical training and funding.

Only debris left after the attack, Google showed ‘permanently closed’
After the attack by the Indian armed forces, the name of this entire campus has started appearing on Google Maps ‘permanently closed’. This indicates that India’s aircraft was so accurate and disastrous that this big whereabouts of Jaish are no longer left in existence. The process of showing a place ‘permanently closed’ on Google includes users report, automatic algorithms and sometimes local guides. In this case too, local reports and user flags have confirmed this information.

This hub was the planning hub of big operations of Jaish
This camp in Bahawalpur has been the center of the plan for many major terrorist attacks against India, including:

• 2001 Parliament attack
• Pathankot Airbase attack of 2016
• 2019 Pulwama suicidal attack

The hideout is located only 100 km from the Indo-Pak international border and was a few miles from the 31st core headquarters of the Pakistani Army.

According to the Reuters report, the students were already removed from this camp due to the possibility of India’s possible attack, but Masood Azhar’s family was present there.
A statement issued by Jaish-e-Mohammed said that out of the 13 people killed, 10 were relatives of Masood Azhar.

Lashkar and Hizbul’s hideout also became target
Under Operation Sindoor, India did not only strike Jaish, but also on the locations of Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). This operation gave a clear message that India will not be a mute spectator of any terrorist attack, but will answer it on both diplomacy and military level.
