Jamaat-e-Islami Hind President Syed Sadatullah Hussaini has expressed deep concern over the decision of the US to impose 25 percent additional tariffs on India’s imported products. He described this decision as an inappropriate and unilateral punitive action against India and said that it is harmful not only to India but also for America and global trade.

Policy like punishment for India is not good: Jamaat President

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind president said, “The policy like punishing India is not good, while many countries including the European Union are importing goods and energy from Russia. Every country has full right to decide its foreign and economic policy. Forcibly pressurizing is a dangerous imperialist attitude that weakens the cooperation of the whole world.”

Thousands of people will lose livelihood: Hussaini

He said that applying 50 percent tariffs will cause serious damage to areas like small industries, textiles, carpets and food products. This can take away the livelihood of thousands of workers. American consumers will also have to face expensive prices and low options. These incidents show that inner economic strategies can be made a weapon of external pressure.

He said, “Initially the protectionist policies adopted in the name of saving domestic industries later become a way to pressurize others. As countries are giving priority to national security, international trade system is shattering, which will cause long-term damage.”

India adopted Non-Aligned Policy: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

He appealed to the Government of India to take this development as a warning and review your diplomatic approach. India now needs to adopt a balanced and non -aligned foreign policy. In the name of friendship of America or other imperialist forces, we should not compromise on our self -reliance and principles. The current policy has failed to fulfill our national interests.

Should India adopt a strategy? Hussaini told

He emphasized three important strategies for India. He said, “India should strengthen its economic relations with countries like Japan, South Korea, European Union and Australia. Also should increase connectivity to ASEAN, BRICS and regional groups to avoid such pressure in future.”

As a second strategy, he said, “India should lead to a balance among global economic forces, leading in economic groups like BRICS, so that no country can force independent countries.”

As a third strategy, India said, “India will have to take concrete steps towards strengthening manufacturing, agriculture and labor areas. Investment, infrastructure and human resource development within the country will have to increase so that the dependence on global forces is reduced.”

Jamaat e islami hind on ran israel conflict: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has sought action against Israel, condemning the attack on sensitive nuclear hideouts in Iran and residential areas in Iran. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind said that he strongly condemns military attacks on Iran without provocation started by Israel.

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind President Syed Sadatullah Hussaini said that Israeli’s Islamic Republic is a gross and unknown attack on Iran’s sovereignty and unwilling violation of international law and United Nations Charter. The attack is a careless war work on the heart of a sovereign country, including nuclear research facility in the heart of a sovereign country without any international mandate or imminent threat, and cannot be considered less than state terrorism.

‘The silence of powerful countries is disturbing’

Hussaini further said that Israel targeted other places including Natanz nuclear facility and top Iranian military officers, nuclear scientists and citizens have been killed in this without provocation. This dangerous military aggression can instigate a disastrous regional conflict and potentially turn into a global crisis. The world cannot risk another war in West Asia. The silence and passive collusion of powerful nations is deeply disturbed.

‘Iran’s nuclear program for peace’

Referring to the rationalism given by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iran’s nuclear ability, Syed Sadatullah Hussaini said that these unilateral allegations are neither new nor verified. It has been repeatedly said by Iran that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. Hussaini further stated that international institutions such as IAEA, should be an intermediary, not a country like Israel who are ally in gross genocide and war crimes, who are playing the role of judge, jury and death penalty.

‘Israel’s accountability should decide international community’

Hussaini said on the death of top military officials and scientists killed in an attack by Israel, that it is directly murder and also a severe violation of human rights and international norms. We request the United Nations and international community to handle the situation and take immediate steps to make Israel accountable. Along with this, Jamaat -e -Islamic Hinds demand immediate global intervention and sanctions against Israel and at the same time we would also like to say to the international community that if they fail to take action, then it will set a dangerous example for autocracy and chaos in international relations.
