In the next 8 weeks we will run a signature campaign in all the assembly and demand people in front of the center.”

National Conference Provincial President Ratan Lal Gupta emphasized that this clear message has been received from the 2024 assembly elections. Getting a huge mandate to NC-Congress alliance shows that the public is not happy with the 2019 decision.

Reiterating the commitment to the ruling party’s equal development, he said that the National Conference has intensified its public relations program in Jammu region. He said that the party is standing firmly with the aspirations of the people and will continue to restore the status of full state and advocate the rights of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has said that if the constitution of the country is to be respected, then the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir should be restored. He said that if the local government had the responsibility of security, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam could have been postponed. In response to a question asked about the increasing demand to restore state status to Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah said, “It is not a question of being hopeful.”
